@Delta VS I am moving to California in March. Are you still considering a long travel kit?

Has this happened yet?
I want it...
Like not major, just maybe a 4" lift or so with front coilovers..
Please? 😎

It certainly can happen, but it’ll be expensive and take a long time...

Has it been done?
I assume not for above reasons...

Yes Killer Off Road has a kit out. It is about the normal price for a LT suspension. It does look really well constructed though. I wheeled HIH8 with a guy who had installed it in his 470. It seemed to handle everything easily.

Any one have a link for the killer off road kit?

The last time that I went digging for a link for the kit (or them), it looked like they (KOR) may have closed up shop?

The now broken ‘mud link:

Like the Kings on Coils. But with out Extended CV axles- the suspension travel mods are pretty much wasted $$.

It’s not a long travel kit. They literally matched a factory LCA mount points and then beefed it up for the coil over.

Your cv’s, ubj’s, and lbj’s will still bind at the same point. Any increase in travel is marginal at best.

I screenshot this years ago. Can't find anything on Killer these days and as mentioned above I don't believe it did much to extend travel

With the shop 100 getting more use, this has actually stepped up the development ladder a bit.

Going to order in some parts to see how and where coil overs will fit, as a starting point.

To be clear, phase 1 will be coil over kit to remove torsion bars, slightly extending travel and allowing easier/better lift. Phase 2 would possibly be a long travel kit. But again, phase 2 would be expensive. To have actual long travel setup would need (most likely) custom CVs, etc.

Edit: a word

I would absolutely scoop a solid coil over kit.
