We have just finished designing our 100 Series Land Cruiser coil over conversion kit, and we are very excited to release this kit. Our kit was designed in Solidworks and is fabricated from .125 and .188 4130 chromoly plate material which is CNC bent, fixtured, and TIG welded. Our kit includes Total Chaos upper control arms (not pictured), KOR fab trophy truck style lower control arms, bolt in coil over mounts, hardware, powder coat, and instructions.

No more torsion bars and an easy approach to coil over suspension for a great vehicle. This kit has an option to run a 2.5 coil over shock with dampning adjuster and a 2.0 hydraulic bump stop, however, welding is required for the bump stop application. We are just wrapping up our first Gen 1 kit and we plan on testing rigorously before parts are available for sale. We will keep everyone posted and continue with pictures and videos from our shock tune session with King Shocks.

Please feel free to call or e mail with any questions or comments. Thank you everyone, and a special thanks to Metal Tech 4x4. You guys have helped us promote our drop down differential kits and have been a solid help in our progress.

OH BOY!

Goodness!

Almost scared to ask (but goodness...) ballpark on pricing?

Interesting, but...

1) What kind of cost are we talking about?
2) What benefit would I be getting, other than changing the format of the spring from torsion to coil? Is there increased travel? If so, how much?

We utilized the differential relocation bracket that we manufacture and in doing so were able to gain 1" more droop travel, and 1.75" more compression travel. The coil over shock will allow for external dampening adjustment, and this kit has an option for a 2.0 hydraulic bump stop.
The kit is adjustable in height, but I have found that 1" over stock height seems to ride and handle the best. We will have a pricing break down posted in the next few days once we finalize cost of manufacturing. I will do my best to keep everyone up to date, but we are a small shop, and very busy at that.
Thank you for the interest and support.
Chris-

I was just wondering why this has never been done before and bam.

Sorry for the noob question as i know nothing of suspension. What is the benefit? In la mans term please.

More suspension travel.... and i'm guessing with this kit you would be able to lift the truck a bit higher too if needed.

Will the arms be for sale a la carte.... I want to jump on them and get them but don't think i'll have enough coin lying around to do the coil overs at the same time.

And having them will push me to save for the coil overs.

Also i'm guessing aftermarket upper arms are a must.

I'm loving this!! Does the track width increase like typical TC lower control arm kits? Custom axles needed? If so how many inches and what is the minimum rim offset needed to clear the new parts?

@SurfSwitch considering a OME with UCAs puts you at $1,600
I imagine this will be greater than $2,000
