It would seem that one could park the model that @wngrog has pointing into the wind and it would do great.
The advantage of the angled roof is headroom. None of the ones that crank straight up allow adequate height for sitting or kneeling. The angled roof gives more height at one end at least...
Good call on the extra headroom of the angled style.
That’s worth it right there. Plus they’re even faster to deploy.
When the struts lift the tent up, is there a way then to lock it in place? If not, is there a chance the wind would cause it to flatten out? Granted, anything's possible. I was just curious about a lock for the upright position.......Yeah I think so
