Dyno testing finished up. Will post info later tonight when we finish up the day here at the shop.
Sorry guys. Haven't gotten a free moment yet to pull the DynoJet run files off the dyno computer. I'll take some time later today to grab the files and post up the dyno results for you guys. In the mean time here are some shots of our new high flow 100 series midpipes.

Even with the O2 sensor mounted flat to the pipe it shouldnt throw codes. But when going to a single cat or no cats at all it will keep the check engine light from coming on.Sweet!
Assuming the lengthened o2 mounting pipes keep the ECU from throwing codes?
2wd dyno. Center diff locked, Front driveshaft removed. Are you using a 4 wheel drive dyno or disconnecting the front drive shaft?

Pricing on first page of the thread. Cat-back is available right now, midpipes will be available to order tomorrow (friday). If there's enough interest for a good set of properly designed headers we can make them for sure. We should have time in December or January to do the R&D and prototyping if there's enough interest.Gorgeous!!! Remind us all the pricing, availability?
P.S. So when are the headers going into development? You have come this far....might as well close the loop!
We're using high flow stainless steel shell cats. 48 state compliant (will pass sniffer/computer test in CA, but won't pass visual). We can build a setup without cats no problem. We will be doing an intake for the 100-series around December/January.Any insight to what is used for cats? Also, find a way to delete the cats and pass inspectionYou will have my business. I'm not sure how far you want to dive into the 100 Series, but I would think a high flow aluminum intake pipe (to replace OEM intake resonator) with vacuum ports, that is properly tuned to eliminate AFR flutter, and a nice set of headers to go with that exhaust, would sell nicely. The 100 market needs new players with new ideas, otherwise we are stuck looking like each other, and sounding like each other. I see 80's on the trail and they all look different. I see 100's on the trail and it's copy-paste.
Various sound clips:
Very quiet, guess I'm getting old because that's what I want!
Just so people have an accurate benchmark. The LX470 in the videos/sound clips, does it have just the EMS cat-back, or also the EMS mid pipes and hiflow cats? Also does the EMS cat-back have the standard muffler or the optional add-on resonator as well?
No problem.Perfecto, thank you!
Midpipe pricing and ordering information will be posted tomorrow. Yes, the EMSPowered high flow midpipes are a direct replacement for the stock midpipes. You can use them with a completely factory exhaust, or any combination of parts. As long as the stock midpipes fit in your setup, so will the EMSPowered high flow midpipes (except they would flow more and make more power).Call me what you will but I can't find the Midpipe pricing in the first post.
Would the mid pipes direct replace stock? I'm currently running DT headers and have hacked a Magnaflow into the stock cat-back section... but my cats are pretty rusty. I would consider the mid pipes sooner and you cat back later if it can be made to work. Will the mid pipes fit in an otherwise stock set up?
Thanks a lot,
Yes! Definitely! The exhaust sounds great from idle all the way to redline. Personally I prefer the sound without the silencer, but for those that want a slightly quieter the silencer makes the exhaust very quiet. Without the silencer there is absolutely no "wooshing" sound as you describe it. With the silencer you can hear a slight "wooshing".Does the system retain quality sound throughout the rev range while driving? For instance my Flowmaster setup sounds great low RPM. After about 4,000RPM full throttle I lose the exhaust sound and it just turns into a high pressure air sound. Does the EMS deliver a V8 sound without the ugly whooshing sound? My biggest pet peeve is loosing sound quality when air is trying to escape. My 100 has it bad
I agree! A mild deep sound is perfect for these trucks.Sounds really nice. I like a very mild deep sound in these types of trucks. I'd love to hear it with the mid pipes and cats.

I'd be happy to do the before/after dynoon the VVTi motor for free and installation free if someone with a VVTi 100-series around here wants to purchase one of these exhausts.Wow! I'm no engine tuning expert, but those results certainly exceed my expectations!
Any thoughts on how the impact would be on the 06-07 VVTI engines?
