FJ60 cat back options 2025

1985 FJ60, any cat back exhaust options other than custom? OEM discontinued and Man a fre out of stock.

i just bought the man a fre option, just arrived and now I am wondering if I need to weld it or not. No instructions and Im barely qualified to DIY

No you don’t need to weld. Pretty easy install.

I just installed (last weekend) the exhaust from Man-a-fre. With zero knowlege and instructions, it came together fairly intuitively. Took about an hour and a half. Took longer than it should simply because I didnt understand how all the brackets worked, but once I figured it out it was obvious. The only concern/issue is that the muffler didnt seem to line up. I read the website for the muffler and it said the inlet was off center, and the outlet was centered, but i couldnt get it to fit unless i reversed it. The website did say it was reversable, so I figured I was OK.

Looks great, sounds great and so far seems to be working as expected, but I wouldnt know if it wasnt really. Much better than what I had before as it was all rusted out. Didnt get a CAT BTW
