Congrats on the 62! You probably already know this but those lenses fit the US-spec side marker base like a glove.

thanks !

the HJ61 Complete assy.'s use a larger TWIST LOCK bayonet style bulb , i would call it a #67 or #89 style , same as the white lower clearance lamp assy. on the front

corner lamps ....

so i figure more LED PURE YELLOW LUMENS .... :)

Replacing the Combo Switch this evening and the Electrical Key Switch and ignition Lock Cylinder

Why ?

- combo switch is simply old tired and sloppy

- I have a full NOS all matching 62 lock set 69005-90A14. So since I’m in there no better time , all lock cylinders are old sloppy tired and some shutter doors or broken in the open position …

- and well I must practice what I preach , anything else would be simply Passé’

- a new OEM Land Cruiser TR-33 lock cylinder of any kind FJ40 , 60 , 62 etc . Is a much more Secure and over all theft proof method of the SCUM not being able to gain access to CEMENT GHOST …

- I have never personally ever been able to jiggle open a new OEM lock cylinder with simply a old random tired TR-33 code cut key from another toyota Vehical that uses a TR-33 land cruiser Celica Corolla pick up 4runner cressida Corona carina hilux and do on all used TR33 at one production period time window or another ..

- in my opinion the best offense is a good defense to begin with , then you can ponder such creative addional security features such as a kill switch or the like

- what good is a kill switch if your $800 google chrome book is swiped ?
With a jiggle key method ?

That’s the cost of all new locks cylinders to begin with …

My 2 cents there

I still am blown away at amazement that fellow the other day got his jacked FJ62 back here on mud only hours after lt was reported stolen , all as a result of the Eagle Eyes from another random mud member spotting it in his local Home Depot parking lot same day !

Simply amazing 😻
