Yes they work! Have seen tons of questions about "what's the thinnest spacer you can run". Most claim it's 1.25". Well, installed my Bora 1" spacers today and they work perfectly. The rear axle seems to have a touch longer studs than the front axle, but given the recess in the BBS HE wheels zero issues with getting these on.

First photo is stock with 275/70R18 Toyo AT3s. Second is with the spacer installed on only the front wheel.

Looks great! Quick question. Does the tire thread edge (not side tire bulge) reached inner metal fender edge. I want a slightly wider stance but would like to avoid rocks coming off from tire threads and hitting the inner lip of fenders (causing chips / corrosion, etc).

Tire tread does not, so you should theoretically be good. Here is a better head on picture.

Wonder if that 1 inch spacer would look the same on the stock 285 size and have similar clearance?

Can you post some pictures showing the whole car and the stance from a few different angles? What was total cost?

I'll get some more pics tomorrow. Bora makes each set of spacers to order. Cost was 256 shipped to me, I installed in about an hour in my driveway.

Should be 0.4 inches more "poke" from the fender with the extra 10mm. I've got front spring spacers on so not totally stock

Any tire rubbing in the fronts? Just installed 1.25" Spidertrax on my LX570 with HE wheels and same 275/70/18 Toyos yesterday and getting some rubbing both on front plastic guards and mud flaps.

I run these same Bora 1" spacers and have for about a year. They are great - very high quality. You will see just how precision the machining is for the "hub centric" spacers the first time you try to remove a wheel. It will seem stuck on there, unlike with spidertraxx 1.25" spacers. You can get the wheel off by alternating bumping one side of the tire, then the other, with the butt of your hand until it breaks loose. It is very important to tighten your lug nuts gradually in an alternating star pattern to make sure the wheel mates up correctly. Don't trust a shop to get that right (or the torque correct). I've had otherwise reputable shops put my wheels on at hugely varying torques for each lug nut to where you would not be able to change a wheel on your own in the field. The spec is less than 100 ft-lbs (97 iirc) Shops that use an impact wrench are all over the place.

Interesting, yes the Spidertrax did seem to have a little bit of play in the hubcentric fitment which I wasn't expecting. Wondering if it's worth changing out the 1.25" Spidertrax for the 1" Bora's. I would've preferring going with 1" spacers but was worried the stud's wouldn't clear it and would require cutting which with the HE BBS wheels seem not to be an issue.

Yes I have some rubbing, most of it in reverse. Nothing dramatic, but need to do some work with the heat gun

I've got Bora's on my LX470 as well. I'm amazed at how precise these spacers are. I used a star pattern and torqued everything to 97 ft/lbs. If you use locgite on the spacers it voids the warranty unfortunately, so make sure to recheck the torque spec after a couple hundred miles .

I'm planning to tow with my cruiser, and called Bora about running spacers on my tow vehicle. They said the hub centric spacers are rated far higher than the cruiser's max tow capacity so no worries running them.

Why voids warranty? Seems like the right thing to do to keep things secured.
