Hey guys, a friend of mine suggested that we could make some front recovery points for my LX 470 out of some angle iron he has. I intend to bolt them right through the frame, but I'm worried about the strength of the angle iron itself. I know it would be pretty strong for a straight, static load, but I'm not sure about how it would handle the forces involved in a dynamic snatch. I know there's all sorts of physics stuff that comes into play; moment of inertia and a bunch of other stuff I do not understand in the least. What are your thoughts?
