I love all this baselining work! Your engine looks super clean under the valve covers. This seems somewhat surprising given how badly they treated the interior in this one previously.
Yeah the interior was dirty but mechanically everything has looked great. The old timing belt looked to be changed not too long ago. The spark plugs looked great no oil on them even color on all cylinders, No metal on any of the drain plugs blah blah blah. We are happy with our purchase 😁

Here’s some last monitor vacuum lines I had to replace before I could button it up. I will order factory crankcase breather and pcv hose in the near future but for now these heater hoses will work fine. I wrapped some of the hoses that will have slight friction in fabric loom same as the tranny cooler lines.

Here’s some pics of the engine bay fully buttoned up. I will get better pics tomorrow, Exciting moment we fired her up tonight and topped off the radiator, power steering fluid and transmission. She’ll get a test drive tomorrow afternoon. 🤘 This has been quite a project and I am happy with the amount of work I’ve done in 6 months. Now that I’m familiar with these 100 series I know I could do it in a month or two but I took my time learning this vehicle inside and out and the results are something I can be proud of. This Land Cruiser will be my girlfriend’s new daily driver starting on April 5th when she comes back home from her vacation in Europe.

Finished the navigation delete, was able to snag a working a/c panel local from a totaled Land Cruiser. Also installed a Pioneer WT5000NEX head unit. Sounds so good and feels good to finally have A/C back again. Just in time for summer! This week I’ll pressure wash the seatbelts and detail it inside and out. Finally ready for the girlfriend to take it over for daily driving. Since it’s mechanical overhaul I’ve put 1,500 miles on it and everything has been great!
