Hello all…I’m new to the forum but a long time fan. I have several parts that are free to a good home (here in the Phoenix metro area). The parts are all from my 1995, FJ80 and include the following: OEM radio which was working when swapped, front passenger door card pocket in tan, and a...
Came put of a 78 FJ40. Went though unit, cleaned interior and exterior. Replaced interior light bulb. Tested and functions perfectly. Speaker included.

Is there any considerations to be made when upgrading the speakers after the nav to non-nav conversion? I would like to fully update the sound system with minimal hacks that need to be done.
thanks!
Looking for a 1985 FJ60 radio cover plate. They used to have them on eBay and now I can’t find them anywhere, I don’t care if it’s authentic lol. Just need to get something to cover up the hole where the radio used to be. Thanks!!

Is it ok to start the FJ40 without the cluster fitted? Trying to install a new radio and what to make sure everything works first!
Also any idea on this wire?
I picked up my 94 back in September, and everything was fine with the radio when I got it. Then, one day my wife came inside and said the radio was on. Shortly after that I also noticed the driver side floorboard was soaking wet due to a windshield not being installed correctly in the past...
I’m trying to wire an aftermarket radio, these wires were right behind the receiver slot. The left two wires are showing 11-14 volts on a multimeter regardless of key in on position. I want to wire the receiver to constant and switched power. Will if have to fuse tap for switched power? Or what...

Does anyone have pictures of where they've mounted a ham radio in the 2016+ LX 570? I have a Yaseu FTM-400 but can't figure out a satisfactory place to put the display / control unit, as in general the dash on the LX 570 is kind of cluttered.
For sale is a working head unit (CD changer does NOT work) out of a 1999 LX470

Currently doing a Nav Delete on my 2006 LC, I have two unused connectors. Trying to figure out what they run / power.

Looking to buy a simple radio for my truck, something hidden and out of the way when not in use, the Motorola MXT275 15 watt, is what I’m looking at for trail use and maybe additional backup short range communication.
Has anyone thought about install a pass thru plug in this location? Any info...
Need these to install a proper radio in your Toyota/Lexus, or retain steering wheel controls once you do so? (I used them for just that in a RX330)
Both are yours for $40 shipped in the US, or cheaper for pickup in Berkeley, CA
You will have to reset/reprogram.
I put a new radio in yesterday and got everything working except the front door speakers, the front dash speakers and the rear door speakers are all that’s working. 94 cruiser
well, I bit the bullet and bought....not just one...but two baofeng uv 5r radios (ham version).
Reason: intraclub comms, and because ana goes on these long distance mountain hikes and need some way to communicate (thus qty = 2). We do have the inreach (for big time emergencies) and a couple of...
