Good morning,
I had my original 2H radiator repaired about 4 years ago or so and it’s now leaking at a couple of seams towards the top. It was repaired by an older gentleman locally well known and recommended. With the assumption that it’s at end of life, I’ve been researching a new radiator...
I contacted these guys and just asked if they still had the FJ60 radio bracket files and they did! Just ordered and they shipped in about a week. $52
Thanks again!
Hey guys, I’ve debated for years on having my FJ painted. Well, a buddy of mine found a guy locally that is pretty well know for quality jobs at a fair price. I had two other quotes and honestly they’re all over the place.
I researched on mud a few times and found the same, pricing is fairly...
Here’s some pics of the interior. Previous owner put some dynamat down but did a s***ty job so just ordered some additional sound deadening from Amazon. Can’t wait to get the new carpet installed
Reviving this thread, @slangdog , did you find this issue? My 2H is going the same, when I accelerate it sounds like a high pitch noise and I cannot figure out where it’s coming from. Faster speed makes it more apparent. Thanks
Thanks for all the comments. I think I may sand it down and primer it to stop the rust. Then try some of the rust preventer on the one door to test the smell prior to applying to the rest.
Thanks again for the input!
I was getting out of my 60 and noticed this spot. I’m a rookie when it comes to rust removal/prevention. Any advice to stop the madness would really be appreciated!!
It does go down some after being warm, I could just be paranoid.
I’ll be changing the oil this weekend so that should give me a good gauge. Do you drive yours around some prior to changing when the temp is cold? Say below 40degrees? Any advice for changing oil when it’s below freezing?
Thanks
Hi,
I’ve been doing some reading on oil pressure on the forum but wanted to also get some opinions.
I live near Charlotte in NC and it’s been in the upper teens low 20’s in the am. I noticed that my oil pressure was higher than normal in the morning while driving to work.
I took a picture...
