    On my 77 I had to set the bottom tabs before connecting the speedo cable. I did have enough room to get my hand behind it to connect it once the bottom was set.

    Crushers is north of Hanover close to Chesley, but well worth the drive. Another guy is Landblazer, hes in Acton and knows his way around Cruisers and diesels.

    Back in the day I had an 85 SR5 pick up that I use to haul a 10' box tent trailer that probably weighed about 1800lbs. I had 33" tires on it so 5th gear wasn't much use on any incline, but no real issues other than that. Dave
