I am heading to Uwharrie on the KTM in the morning by myself!
Just checking to see if any of you hooligans will be there, and if there is a workday or anything.
Anyone who has the 4x4 Labs rear bumper on their 80 willing to send me a few measurments? I need to know where the spindles go.
Exactly how far from the corner of the outside of the bumper. Mine didn't come with pre-drilled holes. If I am off a little on the width, I can fix that when I build...
Some of you may remember a while back when I ordered 5 snorkels for the 80 series. (One is on mine and another is on Rymers)
Well, me and Jonny have been discussing putting together another order because he wants a 60 series snorkel. The thing is, this Chinese company thinks I have a...
I may ride up to Uwharrie this upcoming Saturday to try out the new dual sport tires. Does anyone else plan on being there? Knowing me, I may need a tow out of the woods. @GLTHFJ60
Since I'm stuck on the couch sometime during the day, I was watching modern marvels and a commercial came on for a show called "Alaskan offroad warriors". I saw a 55, and maybe a 40. Either way it looks like it will be an awesome show, debuts this fall.
For about 2 weeks now my blower motor will either be stuck on high or won't work at all. I've searched the forum and found this problem with the 100 series but not with the 80. I drive a 96 LX450 so it's a bit different than the LC.
I don't suspect the resister, since it's sometimes stuck on...
Sorry, if this doesn't make sense. I'm on alot of drugs.
I got T Boned by a Ford Explorer on my dad's motorcycle. .caroline was on the back but she ended up getting a cast and going home. My leg is completely mangled
Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the heated seats In a 100? I have 100 seats in my 80 and I am having an issue with the heated seats. A diagram will help me immensely!!!
Thank you!
Ryan
I have a couple things I want to do to the unnamed LX. When I get time I'll post my list. Just trying to find out if there is a weekend in January some of you guys can make it out to Elon, NC. Let me know!
I'm looking into getting a 14 inch chop saw instead of a cutting torch since my garage is attached to my house. I don't want the danger of my house exploding. I know I won't be able to do everything I can with with a torch ( bend metal, cut shapes, weld, ect.) but I want to be able to cut metal...
Does anyone have, or know if it's even possible to get, the dimensions of the 4x4 labs kit? I have all the metal in the world at my dispense, and the tools to cut/weld everything. I love that bumper and was trying to make something like it.
Thanks!
Ryan
My roommate has a great dog. He is a lab/golden mix. He was born with some type of knee issue and is progressively getting worse. He is tanks best friend! Everyone needs a best friend!
I'm not asking for a lot, even just a 5$ donation from a couple people makes a difference. There is a better...
I bought a 2013 Honda NC700X about a month ago. I planned on buying a dual sport, but ill be 90% on road so the sales lady talked me into a more highway friendly bike.
I plan on ordering some off road/dual sport tires for it so I can have fun on some easy trails at uwharrie. Just wondering...
I probably shouldn't start a whole thread for this, a simple text to darin would do the trick, but when does uwharrie officially open? I need to ask off already. Its hard to get weekends off being the lead tech at a firestone....
Who else will go with me opening weekend?
I figured I would start this thread in the ONSC forum instead of the 80 Tech due to the fact that I hate most peoples comments out there. So here goes.
On November 24, 2012 I purchased my LOCKED, 1996 LX450 from another mud member (Burt88). When I got her,she was bone stock with 206740 miles on...
I figured I would share some insight about my problem and hopefully my solution.
I have a 96 LX450 and I installed a FOR 4 inch lift kit complete with the caster plates. Now it wanders like crazy on the highway. When I.correct the wander to the left, it pulls right, and so on and so on.
When...
I have researched more than ever the past two weeks. Emailed shock suppliers, bilstein, and a couple friends who own parts stores. All for no answer.
This shock is the one I need to match up for the lift I got from Darin. I need to find it before the HAMOM. The only help is a part number on it...
Well, Even though I'm 26 years old, my mother is still bugging me to spend 1000$ of her money for christmas. I really wish front bumpers werent all around that number! I have a couple things in mind.
PFRAN LED kit which is only around $65.
4x4 Labs rear bumper $500 plus whatever shipping...
