Hello!
Part #’s 81518-60412, 81520-60282
I ordered these per the diagram for my 1994 FZJ73 and they are incorrect for my truck. These are the smaller ones that mate up with the grille that wraps around more on the sides.
Through Partsouq they were $82ea plus a bunch for shipping.
I guess I’d let...
In trying to sort out why the lower hose on my newly installed aluminum radiator is contacting the steering stabilizer, I believe I’ve found one of the culprits. Im fairly certain this truck was in one or more collisions, based on a few things on the front end that are bent or tweaked.

Hello!
My clutch release fork has begun tapping against the slave/release cylinder rod. Is there an adjustment here that I’m not seeing? It goes away when I put a small bit of pressure on the pedal.
It’s pretty annoying. Sounds like a loud valve lifter.
I’ve been trying to figure out where my transmission or transfer case are leaking from, praying I don’t need to pull them down. I cleaned it off a few weeks ago to try to trace it but forgot to recheck until today. On first glance, it looks like it’s coming from between the trans and t-case but...
While I have my cooling system apart, is it reasonable to disconnect and run some water through the heater core without removing it? Until I got it, this truck only had Columbian water run through it.
I’ve accumulated some tools over the course of this Cruiser project that I’ll probably only need to use once or twice, so I figured I’d post them here as available for loan to the NM group since they will just be kicking around after I’ve finished these respective projects.
1FZ front crank bolt...
The usual overseas part suppliers don’t offer much in the way of info on the S.A. FRP tops. Im assuming because they weren’t officially Toyota-produced assemblies.
The flocking in the window tracks is pretty much gone and the windows grind on grit bedded in the track and on the aluminum track...
Hello!
I pulled my radiator ahead of putting in a new water pump/oil pump/front main seal and am wondering if, while I’m in there, it is reasonable to pull out all the A/C components. I have no intention of ever updating the A/C system so for my purposes it’s all just extra stuff in there.
Is...
Hello!
I recently swapped the power regulators for manual ones, so I have this set of regs, motors, switches and the controller box up for grabs. Everything works - driver’s side worked smoothly and passenger’s side was slow but that could have been because of old dried up grease throughout...
Hello!
I am beginning to get my head around dealing with a very sloppy steering box as I pile through Springtime projects. Search hasn’t turned up much in terms of my truck. Part number is 4411060370
On the rebuilt front, powersteering.com says they will rebuild it but with a healthy...
Hello!
I’m working on replacing the rubber bits for the front windows and can’t get a fix on how to get the lower bracket for the front vent window apart.
Anyone have any insight?
Is there a system driving what and/or when parts slip into NLA territory? Is it tapering demand over a set period of time? Is there a ______ year milestone that triggers when something becomes discontinued? Type of part?
My recent brake drum hiccup has me wondering if I should be employing a...
Hello!
My rear drums are toast (surprise surprise) and the drums P/N Partsouq is showing for Columbian trucks with a Dana 60 rear axle is 4243160050.
It’s available via Amayama and Megazip but I’m weighing options.
To anyone's knowledge, are there any substitutions for this part?
Thanks!

Hello!
My trip meter doesn’t zero-out. When pressing the reset button, it displays a random assortment of numbers which, unfortunately, haven’t yet led to a winning powerball ticket.
Can the mechanism be rehabbed somehow?

Hello!
The holes on the door for the spare carrier are either welded shut (like the one for the rear wiper is), or Bondoed. I can't see evidence of any of the four holes on the outside of the door and can't go through the inside of the door to poke through. Could someone please give me...
Came across this this morning. It's not mine but I've crossed paths with this truck several times around town. It's in pretty good condition.

The good folks at Red Line Land Cruisers have taken my zombie 73 on and in speaking with @RLMS today, Justin said my harness is basically toast (@OGBeno thanks for sending Justin that diagram). He recommended replacing it over working through it as it’s rather fragile and victim to one...
