Put the 40 to work today. This is another thing I love about running long winch lines. I can run the cable around a tree and guide it down to exactly where I need it without worrying about it hitting the rig.

The 40 is running beautifully this summer.

Had time for a long lunch today, so I cruised down to Cripple Creek to catch the last of the Aspens turning. Grabbed a sandwich at Gold Camp Cafe and hit a few back roads. This 40 runs like a Swiss clock.

Speaking of 1976...I bought a 1976 Piper Archer II today and flew it home from Southeastern Colorado. This thing has never seen rain and only has 1,800 hours on the airframe. Original paint. Immaculate. I love these machines.

Hoping to get the 40 out soon when the roads clear.

The 40 has been waiting patiently in my shop the last few months. Finally got a chance to take her out for a lunch spin to the local deli with the mut today.

This thing runs so well. Sure missed it.
