I actually did some work on my own truck, on a Sunday no less. The last Griffin radiator I bought, check out the date.

Setting doors on a 60. If you're done this you know how time consuming and sometimes frustrating it can be to get everything aligned. Drill two 1/8 holes in each plate before you take the doors off. Body side of the job is pre aligned going back together. Worked like a charm!

I have been dreading replacing my hinges. Awesome tip!

Working on the shop addition today. Doing it all myself, alone. Had concrete poured. First time I set trusses alone.

All the trusses are set on the shop addition. First time I've set trusses alone.

What do you do when you have a drive line hanging and are cleaning up the engine bay of the truck it will be installed in? Use it to set the motor mounts and cross member in an 80, of course!
😀

Max the 55 is getting closer.

Super clean install, Stan! It's the detailed/finishing touches - like the factory look of this engine bay - that define IMO a quality build.

Actually doing some work on my own truck, a rarity for sure.

I wanted to do something different. I picked up cable locker conversion kits for the axles 5 or 6 years back. So I went all cable and moved them up. Center console will extend under and up the the shifter mounts. Room for a couple indicator lights between the trans shifter and others.

Got the metal in for the new frame table

This is the frame table I am building. Big thanks to Kyle Kuhnhausen for his help in this. I contacted him and told him I'd like to duplicate his table. He agreed to use his designs and sndcutsend me a bunch of parts he had cut for his table. Check out his Instagram, he builds some really nice cars.

I'm like a kid at Christmas! Laser cut parts and 1"-8 ACME threaded rod for the frame table.

Fabricators, check out Sendcutsend.com If you can draw it in 2D on a CAD layout that works for them, they can cut, bend, tap holes etc.. Enlarge that photo and figure out how long it would take you to make those parts in your shop. Almost all of it is 1/4" plate. All the small holes in the square plates and the oval plates are tapped.

Oh I'd be chuckling like Scut Farkus opening all that fun stuff up.....

LOL, I am there. I've been planning this table and the Mercedes 380SL that will first reside on it for a while now. I need some personal fun :)
