Sheila's dash and gauge pod. This dash was a bunch of cracks. All cracks were dug out, everything sanded flat, cracks filled, a layer of fiberglass cloth running along all cracks, then a full layer of glass cloth on the entire dash, on more layer on just the top of the dash. Epoxy resin. SEM texture paint and top coat finish.

1-10 , How much do you like the lizard skin? Is it worth the effort and $$

I just sprayed both sides in a truck cab, but haven’t got any seat time yet

@EasternYeti—— have to say the lizard skin is turning out to be pretty much what we’re looking for

I have had very good experience using Lizard Skin combined with Dynomat. Interiors are much more quiet and the floor does not have nearly the heat in it as stock. The doors have a solid sound when you close them. I'll continue to use it on customer builds and my own builds as well.

Love the new puppy Pi and RIP to Max.

One question - what is the color on the 60 "Sheila" shown above. Looks awesome!!!

Best that I can tell you is silver. It is a re paint, no idea what flavor of silver.

Thanks. It almost looks like the cement Gray non-metallic that is on the current Tacomas and 4Runners.

When "Sheila" was repainted, I simply asked for the same silver it already was. s***, I assumed it was the factory silver! :meh:

I'll second this. I've been using Lizard Skin for a while and am very pleased with the results. IMO it's worth the effort.

This is the first I've heard of Lizard Skin. Going to check it out for my 62....
