Looks great! Except for that front bumper. Not saying you need to source an original but there’s gotta be something you can do better than that.

It's on the list. Gonna refresh these tubular ones until then though. They're surprisingly pretty stout. But yeah. Bumpers will be coming eventually.

I picked both up here in NM in a field. Plans right now are to build one out of both. Have already started picking up parts.

Both right now are red and white.

Some nice patina on those pigs. Nice find!

Got the 72 home. Nice day for wrenching.

I'll be starting a thread soon for the build. Noticed the 73 does have smoker windows though I do know the driver door is from the 72. These were owned by brothers in Moriarty, NM and they swapped parts depending which one was running at the time. The 73 was also originally a Grey color.

Where is the actual Registry?

There’s a Ford 302 with an adapter to original transmission. That will all come out and a 2F engine and transmission will go in. Also has a PTO winch I’ll need to extend the driveshaft to accommodate.
Not an F or 1.5F?

Great looking 55! Doesn’t seem to be very much rust from the pics.
What color is that? Is it gray or an oxidized green?
Light gray.
