79 FJ55 rad support cover (2 Viewers)

Have had this piece hanging in the rafters for years mostly because It has the weatherstripping seals that you can see in the photos. This came from the only 79 FJ55 I've owned (have had 26 over the years!!!) and is the only one I ever saw with these rubber seals. Anyway, looking to sell it, has no hood latch but does have the hood support rod. $50 plus the ride best to email me shmukter@pa.metrocast.net

By the way I believe I bought that 55 from a post on MUD and that it came from somewhere down South. It was yellow and had no top! Maybe someone on here might remember it. When you closed the door the entire side of the truck rippled!!!!!

Me either. Pulled the only set I ever saw off a carcass at a pick-n-pull near Denver on put ‘em on the Frankencruiser just because. Same carcass gave up the under hood strip along the cowl.

Wait a minute - you have had 26 '79 Pigs over the years?

Or 26 Pigs in total?

If you had 26 '79s, that is probably equal to 1/3 of the total volume of '79s Toyota sent to the US!

Only ever had the one 79, the "roadster". My orange and white truck was a 78, most of the others were pre-78.
