I had the CCOT mirrors on my 60 for maybe a year and a half. Cheap plastic, lots of vibration, they eventually cracked and fell off. The only thing I've ever liked about the J##p Wrangler is the mirrors. I think that with a shim they could be made to fit the curve of the 60 door.

It may be for the reverse lights. It mates to a wire that comes off the top of the transmission. So your reverse lights come on when you put the transmission in reverse. Not so easy to see, you really have to crawl under there and try to look over the top of your transmission. HTH Matt...
