A bit of an overdue update. The cruiser has had a busy year doing a few moab trips, a Death Valley Roadtrip with @LC4LIFE and @ExpoMax , and the month of August, finally got to do a bucket list trip. Alaska. My dad and I took a month off and...
If anyone has not received a call or email from me by tomorrow by 5 PM regarding your turbo order please email me again. We are still here knocking orders out.
I have been out of the shop for over a week and a half with the whole family and...
I always finish what I start Richard! The most treacherous part was the deep ass snow covering the paved road on the way to Truckee. I slid off into a gully on the left. Luckily my winch line was long enough to link up to a tree across the...
Remember that I broke that trail may 28 ( or there an ours) 2022. Ran it alone, first one through that year. Experienced snow and several downed trees. It’s tough. Glad you guys made it.
This trail holds up to it’s reputation as one of the hardest trails on the west coast.
Parts of the trail were unrecognizable compared to the trip Kenn, Wyatt and myself made three years ago.
The winch hills are much more difficult at time I...
I think mine is too big to fit in the quarter panel. It’s rated to mounted under the vehicle like it was for some years. I may explore ways to mount it inside. Takes up cargo space though.
You bring up a good point about the shroud. The top two bolt hole tabs were broken on mine and I was limping along for years. My advice is to replace it before it becomes NLA!! Your theory about the tips slowly moving fwd and contacting the...
Nothing big to report.
I did sell the 17x8.5 the Method 105s locally.
I then bought this:
I pulled the trigger on this one...

Total was $206 not bad...
And
$329 is best I could find...
Also to add to the above, I have seen lots of cracked fan shroud towards the 12 o'clock position and many people. include myself. have been reluctant to replace the shroud with new and many attempt to repair with glue or duct tape as temporary...
I had not only 1 but 2 radiators destroyed. 1st one was my RDs, the 2nd one was my Lilland 2 row alum. Both radiators were about 1"thicker than factory. You can tell by looking at how much the fan was exposed from the fan shroud. I compared...
i think i'm a hair less than 9 psi, and no ceramic coated anything. The downpipe from the turbo has a blanket, and the hot side has a blanket also. 7psi is plenty for negating the elevation hp loss and extra head room, and you'll freaking love...
How much boost are you running? Is the J-pipe ceramic coated? Is the down pipe insulated? The TRD super charger made 5psi and a couple here I know of run a smaller drive pulley to make 7psi and they don’t complain of coolant temp issues...
