Looking to buy 2005 with 165,000 miles -- looking for help evaluating!

Hello, Looking to buy a rig to be used as a camping/adventure vehicle in New England. Use case would be fire roads and areas off the beaten path to explore. Just fun exploring for me and the dog! I've never done work on cars, but do all of my own maintenance and upgrades on my motorcycle, but am very interested in learning on this rig. I've found one in Connecticut that looks to be in decent shape but wanted to get peoples opinion on it and whether it's a good buy. Wanted Anywhere: 2000-2006 100 Series

Hey everyone, First time posting, and looking for some opinions...looking for a 100 series in good shape. Anywhere between 2003-2006 seems to be the sweet spot. Want to make sure I am approaching this rationally. Growing up, my dad had a Land Cruiser, and now that I have a little one of my own, I'm on the hunt for one to continue the tradition. I'm specifically looking for something with less than or around 200k miles. I'm located in the South and I'd prefer a "southern truck" to minimize rust issues, but more than happy to travel. My ideal color is Jade Imperial Mica, but I'm also open to Silver (River Rock Green Mica), White, or Black. My budget is in the range of $15-18k. Should I buy this LX 470?

Interested in the group's thoughts on this special opportunity... I have always loved the 100 Series. I found what appears to be a unicorn right in my own backyard. It's a 2003 LX 470 with only 37,000 miles on it. The truck is in immaculate condition. It was reportedly owned by the owner of one of the largest Lexus dealers in Texas for about 20 years. He kept it at his Colorado vacation home in a garage and only drove it about 1,500 miles per year over the summer. Hey all, looking for a 100 ideally 2004 and up. Prefer LC but LX fine too. Stock preferred (light mods fine just don't need a lot of offroad mods as will be daily driver). NO RUST.
