With much regret, I have to sell my LC because of getting a new job. As you guys know, gas mileage on these is pretty tough. My new job is just too far away to make economic sense driving this back and forth. She has 189,000 miles which are entirely highway miles. The previous owner used this as her estate vehicle and would drive it back and forth from her estate to her vacation home on Cape Cod. Additional photos are available upon request. She's not perfect, but has new Michelin LTX M/S2 tires. Most importantly, I have the oil changed every 3-5k miles using full synthetic.
The LC is located in south-central Connecticut.

Im back, posting my fathers Land Cruiser for sale! Many of you might recognize this cruiser as it was I4C4LO's before my father bought it a couple years ago. As you will see this cruiser is built to the max with everything from a super charger to lockers to an aux fuel tank.

1999 Toyota Land Cruiser with 233,000 plus miles . This vehicle is in good condition with the timing belt done at 202,000 miles if I remember correctly and i have the receipt with the water pump and drive belt changed by Toyota in Brandon, Ms. done by a Toyota Mechanic with 38 Years experience. It does have an exhaust leak, slow freon leak, two small rust spots under rear wheel wells, and the stereo is Alpine but doesnt connect well. I am asking 9,250 as of this morning and it is on Craigslist. I hate to sell it but I'm about 80-90 miles away from any real fun and i don't have time to use it. It has been awesome and I will buy another one in the future.

This has been my DD for almost 4 years now (put 55k on it). It was in great shape when I got it (132,000mi), making me the 3rd owner. I bought it from a friend who actually barely drove it because he purchased it to take to Alaska, but ended up not needing it, so it sat in the garage for several months. I will list as best I can what I have done to it.
2nd 90K mile service at ~175k. While getting this done, I also had all original hoses replaced, as well as the heater core.
Replaced all spark plugs and ignition coils at around 160k
switched wheels and tires to Level 8 18" wheels with BFG AT 275/65/18 a little over 50k mi ago, so tires have maybe 10k left. I also still have the stock 16" Toyota Wheels if wanted

Test drove this truck yesterday. It was in good shape but I was under the impression that it was going to be white but it was “sand dollar pearl” as per Toyota reference... Along with the fact I’m not looking for tan interior it’s just not the combo I’m looking for. If it were colors I liked, it would be at my place right now. It was nice

Sadly im going to sell my Lx470 as I need to get a newer vehicle for credit, etc. (younger and my banker said it would be good). I am going to get a newer Cruiser (13-14) to finance so im selling this one. Located in TX and in great shape. I purchased this from a Father son who had purchased it new in 2005. I dont overland or use the 4lo very often. Im a part-time fly fishing guide so I drive from the TX panhandle to NM/CO where ill need to use 4lo here and there. This has been a great truck. All service has been done. Some mods as well. We had plans to make this the family expedition vehicle but just ended up taking my 4runner every time. lol We recently bought a Suburban to replace this. With the third kid, we needed the extra cargo area. Hate to see this go, know that you are getting a gem. for almost 20 years old this thing looks great. This truck has never even been offroad since we have owned it. We are second owners. Truck has the third row seats as well.

PO 'Replaced the motor at Toyota New motor has approx 80,000'
PO Installed new treads 285's Patagonia M/T
PO Worked as a Toyota mechanic
I have changed the oil and cleaned it up considerably, including removing carpet and vacuuming every surface, washing rear carpet and floors, blowing out vents and rear blower assembly, just replaced every bulb and all lights work as they are supposed to, head light assembly brand new.
Currently has 291500 miles on the body. This rig is super tight
Rust limited to chips where paint was removed
Front end is tight and no knocking
Glass is good, sunroof works perfectly, no leaky windows/doors...

First time 100 series buyer here. Went to look at and test drove an ‘06 today here in South ATL. Truck drove well and everything worked as it should. Scheduled to take it in for inspection next Friday at ACC garage in ATL.
My questions are what are the big things to be looking for with these trucks? Sounds like timing belt and water pump are routinely replaced. Not sure if that was done recently. Other concerns are some cosmetic stuff as pictured below. Additionally there’s some carpet staining right inside the bottom lift gate which may have been indicative of a leak at some point. It was parked outside this morning in the pouring rain but did not appear to be wet inside when I checked it out.
