15 years of Lexus service records from original owner in Chattanooga, TN. Then truck was purchased by the service manager from the Toyota dealer in Chattanooga. I purchased about a year ago, and have installed Thorley headers, new steering rack from CVJ, newer AHC globes, new brakes, oil packs, a/c condensor, and other items.
No rust at all, no signs of offroading, runs great, clean oil and transmission fluid, no leaks, Mobil One oil changes, Amsoil gear oil in transfer case and differential.
All records in hand.
No timing belt/water pump service needed for 40k miles.
everything works, driver and passenger seat bottoms worn. ding in front right quarter panel. small chip in windshield but has not spread since i have owned. many more...

I'm trying to zero in on a 2003-2007 LC or lx470. Hoping for under 150k miles. Preferring something stock and clean that doesn't need a lot of work. Prefer black but open to most colors.
My sweet spot on price is around $15k.
I have one very strong potential deal but wanted to post on here first before I moved forward.

Saw this in the local flyer and had to check it out. Carfax has almost all the miles in MN which are some of the saltiest roads in the country. Moorhead Auto Center is the dealer. Click for link to unit (color is amazing). Smaller operation that flips cheap auction cars. The body and interior are in amazing shape. Zero bubbles in the paint and very minor dents and scratches. The bottom is another story. Looks like some parts were replaced but the bolt holes were rusted out. The plate over the gas tank is a good indicator of what all plates probably looked like. This clown has been trying to sell this truck on the Boston CL for at least the last 2 years. When he first posted it I think he wanted 28k, which I probably would have paid. Then he went to 32 and now he is firm at 37k.....HAhahahahah. Cant wait to see some pics of the undercarriage!

Found this on my local craigslist, saw the dealer license plate holder and looked it up and found more pictures of it when the dealer in FL had it. I called the FL dealer and know what he paid for it, how much he paid to have it shipped, and how much he put into tires, radiator, and fog light. Minimal to hardly any rust.
With that said, I wasn't tempted to get it to replace my 99 lc.

This garage kept Blizzard /Tan LX was bought new by me in December 2005 from Southwest Florida Lexus dealer. Recent Michelin tires from Costco, recent break pad and rotors by Lexus dealer, timing belt and water pump done 89,000 miles. Interior is in great condition, a couple panels and the console lid were recovered by local upholstery guy. Please PM any questions or offers, will be happy to take any specific pictures.

Truck has center and rear diff locker .
Truck was recently inspected by Toyota. They recommended that the lower control arms be replaced(completed) and the brake booster solenoid needed changing. OTRAM replaced the lower control arms already. I also asked them to inspect the frame and they said everything else looked good.
Items that have been recently replaced:

-Rust spot on rear hatch was repaired

Hello all, I am putting my 1998 Land Cruiser up for sale. I've returned to college and I need something a little more fuel efficient. Purchased this pig in September of 2016 bone stock. She's a little rough around the edges so I will do my utmost to point all deficiencies in this truck, but a solid dependable driver. Most of the convenience items work, heated seats, power seat, rear wing windows, sunroof, drivers window onetouch up/down. Was really excited when I found this. The price seemed almost too good to be true. I pulled the CarFax and noticed that this hit 135k miles over decade ago. There are serious mileage discrepancies wit this one. Seller stated that he owned it for three years, but that is also not consistent with the report.

I went to check this LC out 65 miles away. Before I came out, I've talked to the sales rep and sales manager on the phone inquiring about pricing multiple times. According to the the sales manager, the LC is owned by the owner of the dealership since 2014 when it had 85k on the clock and now with 131k.
I asked if they have service records and they flat out told me no. I asked if the the owner have done the timing belt service, they said no. I mentioned that it's kinda weird that an owner of a dealership, who's an LC enthusiast haven't had the timing belt replaced with that many miles or have any kind of service records.
