I have a really nice 2001 Tacoma PreRunner with 191,000 miles. My only reason for selling is that our family has outgrown it and I picked up a Tundra. Selling my 2002 Toyota Tacoma TRD Double Cab. Very clean, moderately built Tacoma! This truck has been absolutely dependable and always operated at 100%. It is painful to see it go, if I had it my way I would drive this thing for another 14 years. I am the second owner and this is a Colorado truck -- no rust! I have all the paperwork from the original owner. As soon as I purchased it, I had EVERY fluid changed so I could start from a clean slate. Since then, I have religiously followed Toyota's maintenance schedule and used only specified lubricants. Bombproof and legendary 3.4L 5VZ V6. Truck started out in AZ (currently in southern CA). I bought it from a firefighter in Phoneix who was driving back and forth from Flagstaff all the time. He put ~80k miles on it in 3 years, and I have added another 75k in the past 8 years. Mostly road trips to and from AZ/ CA and all around the southwest. It has been wheeled a few times, but not a ton. Paint does show AZ pinstripes. Roof and hood were repainted a few years ago by a shop I worked at that built concept cars for big auto shows (it is a strong paint job). Rear quarter panels and door sill over front doors are showing signs of sun fading.
