Hey guys, the dealership I work for, Avondale Toyota, took in an awesome 1990 4x4 4runner. It's bone stock, the auto transmission shifts perfectly, the head gasket was just changed, a full safety inspection was done and it passes emissions. This thing is straight as an arrow and super clean, it was owned by an older gentleman here in Arizona and I believe it is a one owner vehicle. Not a spot of rust but the power steering leaks a bit. No major dents or dings and the tires still have a bit of life left in them.The selling price is $4,986. I know it seems weird to hear this but that is the firm price. The dealership I work for is a one price, no haggle store and that is the reason I work here and not one of the other 10 Toyota...

I'm looking for a landcruiser that is not completely rotted out and is reliable. I am not looking for a project truck, more so one I can get and go with. I don't really have a specific year in mind, but, I have a 4500 spending cap. I am located in Virginia a few minutes outside of DC. I picked up this 82 pickup project a couple years ago and stashed it in the barn.
I have too many other projects and realize its not going to happen.
This was a very nice truck in its day. The local kid who built it spent some money.
The frame was completely welded and reinforced for the v8. Its been lifted high, big tires, etc. I will have to look again at the size. It's been to long. The lift is probably 6 inches.
When I bought it the engine was removed and gone. The truck still has the GM trans. This is a project. But has a great frame and decent body to work with for off road beast or farm truck. Or more depending on what you want to do.

But I will give you a quick break down and pictures to come.
First with the bad:
-Has a dent on the passengers side all the way down where some slid up against something. Not horrible but there.
-Just ran some diagnostics and the drivers side MAF needs replaced or cleaned.
-Small oil leak out of the passengers side valve cover. Leaves about 1 small droplet every time you park.
-Needs another hood shock (stays up but one no longer holds pressure)
-Missing drivers side plastic on inner door that to help seal out the elements (still works as it has redundant seals).
-Trip Tronic is missing...
I've been working on this 78 for a month or so and it will launch on eBay Sunday night. I've enjoyed getting her ready to go and it should be interesting to see where she end up. Southern California born, bone stock, original paint and 70,350 miles. :popcorn:
