Looking to move to an 80 series. 94-97. White with leather and diff locks would be ideal.
Can trade (+ cash to you) for my '85 FJ60. 66xxx miles (really), runs well (DD 50 mile round trip), really nice interior. Needs some TLC that only a Cruiserhead can provide. I just don't have time to spend on it, so it's a project that won't be completed by me. Will post pics soon. Can't sell until I get the 80, hence the buy or trade at this time.

The bad...
AC needs recharged about every 3 years. Its low now.
Driver's window console is loose. The handle is fine, just the switch pad that sits in it is loose. The electronics all work, but the tab that the mounting screw sits in broke off and now its loose.
The ugly...
Body has some moderate damage. Nothing that interfeers with drivability.

There is a fairly ratty 1990 FJ80 for sale at Berlin City Car Center in Williston, VT. It is going to wholesale, but he said $2600 would take it.
Marroon, 180K on it, Piaas, snowboard rack, third row seats. Some rust, only real rot is around the right rear wheelwell, but is salvagealble.

Hey folks, seen this today. Drove down to Lincoln to check it out. Looked ok for the "price" I just don't want to have to build one up. Price being the key word. Has some scrapes on the fender flares and a door ding in the middle of the drivers door, suspension felt a little wishy washy but otherwise fair. I think I would rather buy one built. It has a lot of miles and quite a few blemishes but still might be worth the money. Didn't look like it had been wheeled much but its miles did show. I am not affiliated with the outfit at all just passing on in case someone wanted it...

Bought with 70,000 from one owner. Reviewed all service records at dealer prior to purchase.
Now has 162,000. All routine service performed. The most major work done was replacement of the evaporator core in a/c, and the egr valve.
Regular oil changes, and has never been off road. Never.
I had bought it for my first wife. I let her keep it, then she got something else and gave it back. Since then, I bought an '88 FJ-62. Once I get the transmission replaced in the FJ-62 (sometime in the next month), I'm selling this one.
The only reason I'm selling is to drop a car payment. Including insurance, this will save me about...
Subject says it all. Preferable cheap. Would much prefer lockers in the axles... A complete wrecked truck is not out of the option. Engine etc not needed, need basically a complete frame, suspension, and axles and that is about it...

I only got about 5 minutes to look it over..didn't start it or anything else as the place wasn't open.
Decent shape...some hail dents in the hood, normal wear and scratches. Tires are Michelin LTX's and have a lot of tread but have some cracks due to age. Leather is ok...has been worked on it appears. Birfs would need to be done...are leaking some but not dramatically. Did notice it had a blue fan clutch so it may have had some cooling system work at one time or another. Truck had to spend some time somewhere in salty weather. Wheels have some clear coat damage and frame has some rust...
I'm open to just about any year, but really like 94-97. Looking for a commuter and something to haul my fishing gear.

i have a 1994 fj-80 slate green with grey leather interior. it has front and rear factory lockers and i have added the ome center diff switch, and carbon fiber trim to repalce the faded would trim. its now running great at 176,000k
its been mine for three years, its previous owner was in scottsdale and they used it to take the kids to soccer. it had toyota service under their ownership and i have been taking care of it since it became mine. you can confirm my part list with cdan at american toyota there in alb, if needed. at 130,000k, i repacked both axles , extended the diff breather hoses and added an optima red top, at 155,000 i changed...

So, she's been a great truck for me... This '97 FZJ needs zero maintenance and has an immaculate interior and exterior. Toyota Green that we all know and love. Does NOT have the factory lockers... but has just about every other option.
