Looking for clean 80 with lockers. Must be rust and major accident free. I'm in oregon so i would rather a cruiser on the west side of the US, but would consider others if the perfect one came along.
Some mods would be great, but nothing extreme.

I'm looking for a no-rust, LOCKERED 80. I'd prefer to find one in CO, Nevada, Arizona or the West Coast.
I hate to haggle, so i'll pay a fair price for the right truck. Ideally it'll have a mild (2" or so) lift.
I can't get down to the US until January of February, but if you're thinking about selling at that time, I'll pay a substantial deposit now.
Well, I sold my 60 because I realized that I really want an 80....
I am ready to buy a bone stock, locked, 1995 to 97 FZJ80 or Lexus LX450. Preferably looking for a California vehicle, lighter color is better, all will be considered, no accidents a must. Really looking for some thing that has been well cared for with receipts etc. Mileage a consdieration, but moreover looking for a nice overall vehicle.

Yes you read it right. After 3 long years of building up my 80 and wheeling it like crazy I've decided to move on to the next level of rock crawling. Thanks to all who gave me advice and encouragement along the way. I can't believe how capable my 80 has become. It is the perfect trail rig and I'll definately miss it. :crybaby:
In order to take the sport to the next level I've decided to sell my cruiser and get a competition moon buggy and try my luck in some rock races or crawl competitions. I wish I could keep my cruiser AND get a competition buggy but the wife says no way :)

My buddy has decided to sell his 93. Grey on grey leather. Lockers, OME 2.5" springs, ARB bumper, new 265/75R16 BFG AT. Though it has been in New England for a few years, it spent most of it's life in BC Canada, and is fairly clean. 190k miles, mostly highway as he travels for work. Regularly serviced/well maintained, Mobil 1 since new, tranny has been synthetic ATF for the last 100k, knuckles rebuilt about 20k ago with OE seals, Longfields, Amsoil HD Moly syn. grease. Head gasket replaced, PHH replaced.

Truck is a 1997 40th Anniversary model Toyota Land Cruiser. Engine has approx 30k miles on it. Full new long block engine replacement performed by local Toyota dealer due to Toyota’s previous misdiagnosis. Total mileage on the truck is 132k. Yes, I have paperwork backing this up from the dealer.

The truck is in really good shape. I am the second owner (original owner was my father-in-law), and he thinks we have ALL of the records, back to the dealer sticker! The truck has 147K original miles, 4 newish Cross Terrain tires, original tow package, all the interiors work, etc. The body is clean, with just minor scratches. Never been in any accidents.
It is dark green w/ tan leather interior. No roof rack. Asking $9500, but will consider reasonable offers.

I looked at this LC yesterday and was seriously considering buying it. Unfortunately, the wife had other thoughts :doh: Anyway, it is far from perfect, but for $4300 it seemed like a good deal (and the seller is pretty motivated so I'm sure it could be had for less).

Pretty much a stock rig. This was my project truck as you can tell by the pictures. I was going to bed line the fenders, add a rear bumper/tire carrier, lift, MTs and a roof rack. I am looking to purchase a 95-97 Land Cruiser or LX450. I prefer the Land Cruiser, but an LX470 will do. My dream one is white with grey leather and locked, but I know that will be VERY rare. The color options go in this order: white, dark grey, black, dark emerald green. Locked is a BIG plus, but I know how rare that option is. I would also like it to have under 100k miles. I saw an 97' FZJ80 in Myrtle Beach today for sale that I thought someone might be interested in. The dealer was asking $10,900 but I think he would go down to about $9,900. It is silver and has the black collectors edition emblems. No roof rack or sunroof, leather seats and LOCKERS. It looked very clean except for some spot fading on one of the faux wood trim pieces by the shifter. It has 159,000 miles on it and was last registered in N.C. The undercarriage showed no signs of rust. Just thought I would pass this along. Post here if you are interested and I will let you know how to get in touch with them.
