Looks like I'm going to have to sell my truck . . . we're looking at buying a house this spring.
It is a 1991 HDJ81 with the 1HDT Diesel. I'm the second owner in Canada, it was privately imported.
It has the center console cooler, rear heat, Front/Rear/Center lockers, TJM front bumper, Unknown rack (they all seem to come over with the same one), rear ladder, suede seats . . . as far as I know a full load. 155,000km

I was going to introduce myself to the forums in a tech thread but since I don't have a cruiser yet I thought I would start here, and since I am here I am in the marker for a gently used FJ80, I would prefer stock but mild mods are cool too.
The IH8MUD.com forums are outstanding resources and I am sure once I find my rig this place will be my new home while at work.

I'm interested in a toyhauler and need tow capacity so if someone were interested in my 1996 clean Cruiser in Long Beach, let me know. It's got all the options except for the rust prone factory roof rack. I've got a set of Thule's I mount to the rails I will throw in too.
It's black, has 95k miles on it, synthetic oil and synthetic tranny oil on a partial drain cycle. Runs strong, no problems, no accidents. Moon roof, factory electric lockers! 3rd row seats lots of maintenance records.
Never off road. Previous owner was Newport Beach wife / mother and I have not taken it offroad or otherwise abused it. Tow hitch used to tow my motorcycles only...

I'm posting to regretfully inform you all that this will be the last chance for those of you have not yet purchased my "Subwoofer Upgrade" to get one now as I will no longer be able to produce them much longer.
I'm not one to air out laundry on the forum but I will say I'm in a bad financial situation and will be selling my LX450. My wife and I had a newborn son in July and due to complications with his birth she has not yet been able to return to work. The bills keep coming and I'm killing myself everyday to make sure they all get paid in a timely manner. My only saftey net is my LX450 which I own outright and I need to sell it in order to make sure we are financially ok until she can return to work.

1997 FJ80 with 155k miles for sale in Hope Arkansas. A co worker has the vehicle for sale and I said I would help him. The 80 is all stock and in excellent condition. It has all the bells and whistles; sunroof and the gold package. Color is white with tan leather. It has never been off roaded--maybe a gravel road and as Jim told me "I have driven it in the pasture"

I'm looking for a no-rust, LOCKERED 80. I'd prefer to find one in CO, Nevada, Arizona or the West Coast.
I hate to haggle, so i'll pay a fair price for the right truck. Ideally it'll have a mild (2" or so) lift.
I can't get down to the US until January of February, but if you're thinking about selling at that time, I'll pay a substantial deposit now.
Well, I sold my 60 because I realized that I really want an 80....
I am ready to buy a bone stock, locked, 1995 to 97 FZJ80 or Lexus LX450. Preferably looking for a California vehicle, lighter color is better, all will be considered, no accidents a must. Really looking for some thing that has been well cared for with receipts etc. Mileage a consdieration, but moreover looking for a nice overall vehicle.

Yes you read it right. After 3 long years of building up my 80 and wheeling it like crazy I've decided to move on to the next level of rock crawling. Thanks to all who gave me advice and encouragement along the way. I can't believe how capable my 80 has become. It is the perfect trail rig and I'll definately miss it. :crybaby:
In order to take the sport to the next level I've decided to sell my cruiser and get a competition moon buggy and try my luck in some rock races or crawl competitions. I wish I could keep my cruiser AND get a competition buggy but the wife says no way :)

My buddy has decided to sell his 93. Grey on grey leather. Lockers, OME 2.5" springs, ARB bumper, new 265/75R16 BFG AT. Though it has been in New England for a few years, it spent most of it's life in BC Canada, and is fairly clean. 190k miles, mostly highway as he travels for work. Regularly serviced/well maintained, Mobil 1 since new, tranny has been synthetic ATF for the last 100k, knuckles rebuilt about 20k ago with OE seals, Longfields, Amsoil HD Moly syn. grease. Head gasket replaced, PHH replaced.
Hmmm... what else.... roof rack removed. Husky Liner mats.
