Looking to buy my first Land Cruiser (after coming over from the Jeep side). I'm looking to go to grad school in the Northeast this fall, so I'm looking for an older Land Cruiser to pay cash for and make my daily driver for the next few years. We've been having trouble finding the right one and we are looking to buy immediately.
What I'm looking for:
91-97 Model years
Lockers desirable, but obviously not essential
Mileage not important
I'm much more concerned with getting one that has been well-maintained and taken care of.
Budget: up to $7k for the right truck, prefer to stay in the $3k-6k range
I'm located in Columbia, SC; and I'm willing to travel for the right truck. Prefer to find something in the Carolinas or Georgia...

I just got a LX450 with lockers. I was going to sell it but its in decent shape for a off road truck so I am going to keep it and biuld it up.
I am going to sell my 96' Land Cruiser that has 95k miles and no lockers if anyone is interested. I purchased the truck about 9 months ago with 87k 1 owner miles on it. I have changed the oil every 3500 miles, had new front brakes installed, recent alignment, and new wiper blades. I have receipts for everything since I got the truck. It has Michelin tires that still have 5k-10k miles left on them.
It is in very good condition with very little rust underneath and none on the body. It has a scratch on the drivers fender flare and there are some chips on the lower tailgate from the tire...

I'm in search of a 93-94 Landcruiser. I'm willing to go as high as $5500, but I may be able to go a little more if it's worth it.
This will be a daily driver as well as a weekend warrior. I would be interested in properly modified trucks, but I'm not looking for anything too crazy since I will be using it as a daily driver.
I'd like to find one with factory lockers, but it's not a deal breaker. However, it must have the 3rd row seating option. I'm more concerned that it is mechanically sound. I'm not interested in dumping lots of money into a truck for basic mechanical repairs. However, I understand these trucks will have some miles on it and I will have to maintain it or fix/replace normal wear and tear stuff...
Hello every body. My wife TOTALED her FJ Cruiser, withought as much as a scratch on her, she did however cry for almost a week strate, so now I'm looking for a 95-97 80 or lx450 as close to eastern PA (18054) as possable. I would love something locked however if the deal is good enough I can live without that for now. I would also prefer under 150k or so. I have cash in hand, just waiting for the right rig.

I just bought this, but have found a rig closer to what I really want. Willing to let go for what I paid for it, which was $7,500 or $3K under NADA retail. It's bone stock with 211K miles, and it's in fantastic shape. All belts and hoses have been replaced. Head gasket has been replaced, and it has the lockers. There's a slight tear on the driver's seat, but other than that it's in great shape. It was driven by a business man's wife here in town, never been off-road, and the undercarriage is clean as a whistle. No rust or corrosion that I could see at all. The paint polishes up extremely well, but if left unwaxed the hood develops oxidation. It has some pin striping, and the fenders have been removed.
The engine runs very well. It does make a ticking noise, but has for the ~50,000 miles I have owned the vehicle. I have no qualms about getting in and driving cross country.
I just refurbished the sun roof with brand new rails. You can find my thread documenting that process.

1991 FJ80 that had rolled. Ran when I parked it not kicking over now. Think the gas is no bueno. 3.5" OME lift. Roof completely removed as well as most of the interior. Was going to do a full cage buggy with a flat flip down windshield. Clean title in my name. $850.... Obviously, not street legal at the moment would have to be towed. I think the mileage was around 200k. Open to trade offers as well... looking for tools, motorcycles road or dirt, running street legal vehicles... let me know what you have...NEED THIS THING GONE!!!
