Looking to move my 97 lx, unlocked. Had an unfortunate situation last night in the Sierras and went topsy turvy. Not sure as to the full extent of the damage but the major stuff is the front bumper and left side. I turned it over after a quick dance with some ice.
Car is in a tow lot in Portola CA (west of Reno and north of Truckee).
Would like to see if any locals have an interest before I part with it.
The engine was running great and had a HG replacement around 160k.
im selling the cruiser because I have other priorities at this time . This one was sold on here to me a few months ago , but again I need the cash . No wrecks or rust . Clean title

I have a 1994 Fj80 for sale, asking $4,900.00 or best offer. Approximately 205,000 miles. Quick history...bought it from a guy in Southern Utah about 1.5 years ago. Shortly after I picked up the 94, happened upon a cherry 1992 FJ80. So I went from one cruiser to two in about a week. Reality has finally struck me like the Hammer of Thor....I don't have the time or mechanical aptitude to keep both in great running condition and I'd really like to pimp out the 92 so now the 94 is for sale.

Hey Mudders! It is with sadness and probably a twinge of regret later on that I am posting my 80 series project up for sale. I am changing life directions and heading off to university in January so I won't have the time or money to spend finishing her up and need to sell fairly quickly.

For those that are in the market for a cruiser beware of this seller in Seattle, WA. Take a look at his ad, he claims it's a clean car but I ran a carfax and it was deemed a "total loss". I've tried several times to meet with the seller to just see the car myself but every time we've gotten to the day of meet-up he's canceled on me. He's also been dishonest about having a clean title on the car.

Although I have owned a few of these it has been a awhile. My son turns 16 in just over a year. I wouldn't mind to have one to drive for a little while and we prefer to get him in a newer 80 series. We live in the mountains and want a safe reliable vehicle while in the winter but something he and friends can take into the mountains that would be reliable.

I'm offering my LC for sale as I've decided to go the pop up camper / pick up route for my long term travels. She has around 179k as of now and is my daily driver. She's taken me all over the north east (Bald Eagle, VT, Lake Placid etc) on camping and mountain biking trips. I also drive this truck into NYC once or twice a week. is it possible to have full front lockers on this vehicle? The ad says it is fully locked......like many people believe. You couldn't drive a fully locked front drive system obviously......I've done it for about 5 seconds of chirping and hopping.......
If I want fully locking diffs do I look for differnt model with a transfer case?? Er whut?? As I said it is a 2008 AWD. I want to be able to fully lock all 4 wheels when the occasion calls for it.

1 owner, immaculate, has never been off road, i aquired this from my wifes elderly uncle who cant drive anymore. At the moment i have too many toys and projects. 124k miles, clean title never been wrecked, always garaged, zero rust premium package, sunroof, it has only 1 small dent on the whole body, always garaged and always maintained by lexus. The mats havent been stepped on since it was brand new. Ive seen these go for almost 30k with 200k + miles. Asking $18,000 obo

I've got a 96 that I bought and was going to build, but plans have changed. It's got 185k. CEL was on and the code said injector #6 bad. Also oil pressure gauge reading nothing. Runs great. Had plans to fix all oil leaks and re-seal and grease front axle min. I have parts to do all that. New OEM belts, hoses, plugs, wires, cap, dist o-ring kit, front axle re-seal kit, new hood struts since it won't stay up, good non power front seats, good DS visor. Only one spot of rust near rear window, paint in good shape. Not smogged and have title. It's non-op now. Looking for $4000. No lockers. Battery dead, but I'll put a new one in.
Its time to get rid of my old Land Cruiser that I have had for the last 23 years. It has 230000 miles on it and has some issues as any vehicle of this age. The FJ80 was in a accident 6 years ago which resulted in front end damage to front bumper and left fender along with the grill. The front left bumper support bracket was bent along with radiator and power steering cooler. All these items were fixed along with a new set of power steering hoses and other items (I have receipts). This resulted in the vehicle being declared a total loss by the insurance company a the result a salvage title was issued by the DMV for a truck I drove home from the accident. Like many, I'm looking for a nice 80. No rust, clean undercarriage. Locked or unlocked but it should be priced accordingly. Stock or moderately built. No black, green, or maroon please. I'm flexible on mileage if it has been religiously maintained. Location is not as important as condition.
