This might just be the least expensive FJ80 Land Cruiser you are going to find and still drive it home. I picked it up last year with the idea of using it as a winter/snow vehicle because we were having a baby and didn't have anything with 4 doors. Since then work and the baby have taken all my time. I haven't had time to finish it and purchased a Subaru for a family vehicle so It needs a new home.
I was thinking this would make a great expedition or family wheeler. I was considering doing a V8 swap and keeping it, but already have an early Bronco for that and really don't need another...

1997 Land Cruiser – Deflared –Triple Locked- 35’s -regeared
I have owned this land cruiser for about five years. When I purchased it had 208k miles. It was well cared for and serviced by the dealership. I was the third owner. Second owner had it for a few months. I’ve been daily driving and wheeling this 80 since it was purchased.
Drive train
This 80 currently has 250k miles on the odometer. I pulled and rebuilt the engine at 248k miles. It was starting to puff blue smoke on start up and compression numbers weren’t great. Still ran well, passed smog and didn’t throw any codes. Never the less, I decided to pull the motor. After getting it out it was easy to see that it had never had the head pulled or any other major engine work...
For your consideration, 1997 Land cruiser located in New Orleans Louisiana. I'm just putting a feeler out there if anyone is looking for a good condition 80 series. Always been a southern truck, so there is no RUST. I'm limited on time while typing this on my phone, so I'll get to the point in regards to the obligatory information about my rig. Looking for a land cruiser in or around Georgia with no rust and straight body. Stock or slightly modded. Preferably under 230k miles and well maintained/clean 1FZFE engine.

95 fzj80 inline 6 cyl 4.5, 230k, factory triple locked fr/rr with cdl, All aftermarket parts are within a month old. 5" tjm coils front and 4" tjm coils rear, metal tech castor plates, doetsch 13.75 travel shocks fr/rr, trail gear fr/rr extended brake lines, metal tech fr/rr sway bar drop brackets, brand new maxxis 35s, on 16" pro comp steel rims. 4.88 gears fr/rr, Has bed liner on lower panels, and fender flares. Rock defense front bumper powder coated black...I bought this truck stock....doesn't burn oil, has typical fzj80 issues like cracked leather front seats, Lil drip from the oil pan after a few days of no driving.....has a dent in the driver's rear qp, and a small dent on drivers rocker...I wheel this like it's suppose to but...

1995 Toyota Land Cruiser with 165K miles. Two owner vehicle with clean Carfax. It has been serviced well with records. Rare 4wd with front/rear differential locker. Original paint with only light scratches and tiny chips and no rust. Underneath looks great for a Midwest vehicle. Third row seating. All power locks and windows work. Remote start was added and worked well until Toyota replaced my starter and messed up the wiring. They wouldn’t fix it because it was not OEM. Remote manual is included so that it could be hooked back up.

Went to look at this last night with cash in hand. It wasn't for me but I can give my thoughts on it. BTW I am the second guy to pass on it.

BAD:
Paint is horrible. It was a very half ass job. Looks good from 15'. Bad tape job, sprayed over weather seals and gaskets. And looks to be thick and uneven.
Missing fender flare gaskets on one side. Some kind of glue residue in gap(gorilla glue?)
The carpet is not that great. But usable for sure.
Seats show age on the uppers. Only the bottoms...

I have all the receipts and maintenance records. $4500 spent on the engine at Toyota of Pascagoula. Interior refurbished, seats and doors reupholstered, seat heaters installed. Moving soon and I have one to many vehicles, so I must part with one. I have a 1992 with 265k miles on it. Rust free California truck, strong 3FE, when I did a compression test a couple of weeks ago the lowest cylinder was 165psi. R12 ac recently charged, blows cold. Swapped a 4 speed manual in since the auto was blown when I bought it. Has almost new BFG ko2 all terrains. Asking 3k obo. Has salvage title since I rescued it from the junkyard since it had a blown transmission.
