Good glass, headliner, and all lights good shape. CD Radio stereo.
Body's good. It does have some dings and scratches, but overall it is solid. Has smaller rust spots that seem fairly common.

Hey im moving out of state and i have an 84 fj60 i need to sell. its lifted 2 inches with huge pro comps on it. has a roof rack, light rust. I've replaced the brake system, exhaust seals, doesnt need a new clutch but i bought one anyway so that comes with it too. need to sell by january. new electrical system. engine is rebuilt with about 30k on it. I have a 96 with the 24 valve inline 6 and coil spring suspension that was involved in a low speed roll over. Engine, trans, and driveline are solid. Still runs and drives. I also have an 89 with a clean interior, good glass, and rust free body. It is a driver. Was hit in passenger front. Have all of the crash parts for that all ready.
The ULTIMATE FJ62 project is to put the 89 body on the 96 chasis. The wheel base and everything works.
I have had all of this for over a year now and have done nothing but collect parts.
Somebody with more time and ambition than I should make this a reality.
I am sure you have seen the FJ60's with the V8 swaps that sell for a mint. I don't understand that because you still have to deal with that...
Selling my 1986 Toyota LandCruiser. I really hate to do it but I've just had my first child and we can't afford to be a 3 car family. We could try to make this second car but my wife won't drive it and I don't want to have it idling in traffic all day. The rust is also starting to surface and I don't have the money to do a proper cleanup before it becomes irreversible.
Kills me as I love it and it was my Grandfather's originally.
It runs great and my wife and I have taken it up the Coquihalla for many ski trips. My Grandfather used to take it hunting up at his cabin in Gunn Lake.

I was at the Concourse D'lagance in Hilton Head SC yesterday and saw this in the parking lot. No affiliation and never saw the owner.
I kinda like the paint job actually. I would say it was a very fresh repaint. I would give it an 8/10 on repaint but I didn't see in the door jams or under the hood. They did a bad job on the fender transitions and got quite a bit of overspray on the front of the vehicle's frame under the radiator.
The interior I would give a 9/10 but they had seat covers on the front and some cheaper rubber mats down where the feet go. Same in the back. But everything that I could see that was original looked spotless. The headliner looked replaced. Had huge speakers cut in the back and a very large subwoofer box...
This is just a feeler so don't be afraid to throw an offer out there. The worst I can say is no thanks. It has the 4.2 inline 6. 4 speed man. Geardrive transfer case, I assume stock. It has the 9.5 ring gear offcenter driveline axles that are stock. I think they are 4:56 but have not pulled rear cover to check. It is open front & limited slip rear. It has a straight body but the rear quarters are rusty & poorly bondoed. The paint is fairly good. The frame was rusty in the rear. I cut it all away & welded back 1/4" plate then also boxed in the rest of the frame that was C-channeled. Heavy duty rear homemade rear bumper with D-rings. Custom well made sliders. Looks like all original paint, no evidence of re-spray that I can see.
Vehicle was in Colorado since new then moved to Idaho in 2007 ago and used during the summer.
All original equipment including wheels, radio, tool kit, owners manual and service log book since 1990 with all service receipts documenting the actual mileage of less that 92K original miles.
Adult owners since new.
Interior like new, no dash cracks or seat tears, some wear in rear cargo fender covers due to loading in the cargo area. Perfect...
I have no affiliation with the owner of this vehicle, I spotted it on the side of the road and decided to take a few pics to post on mud.the interior was clean and well kept, the body panels appear to be relatively rust free except for a few bubbles above the rear wheels, the wheel wells have some rust pinholes in them, undercarriage has typical northeast rust but doesnt appear to be rotted out.
Im not positive on the model # but i believe it is a fj60, I just bought my first 40 last year so im still a rookie. To me the asking price might be on the high side, but what do I know...

Runs ok, needs brake work(power booster/master cylinder) driver door skin is off because window crank is broken, 256K,Interior is very good and has bedliner sprayed in the rear. Detachable face Alpine with home made boxes in the back has newer tires and the one on the roof has never been on. Has been wheeled. A project i am not going to have time for. Because of the brakes i would trailer/tow it home but i have drove it as is!;) I have only drove it 5 times and has not been plated since 08. I dont have the time to part it out and will not so $1000 OBO

I have finally retired my FJ62. It has some rust in the roof and needs a new fuel pump.
Running on new 33" Cooper STT's, 4inch spring lift, 3F with lpg/propane, h55f manual. This is an aussie delivered wagon, has 4:11's and full floater rear. 383'000 klms. New spring/shackle bushes all round, new front and rear brakes, (pads, shoes, wheel cylinders, slotted rotors on front)
Asking $5k as is, how is, come get it or arrange transport.
nevada rig. bought it for a friend who wanted a cheap camping rig for the summer and then he found something else for an even better deal.......so this one needs to find a home.
i bought it in minden NV and drove it home ( about 200 miles ) last weekend without a hitch. won't pass smog cause everything is missing. it's got a header and a holley carb. interrior is fine, body has lots of rust. 210k miles on it, not sure about the history on this rig.
clean title and current reg. runs and drives good. price is very firm, cash only. located in stockton CA.
plan on taking a few pics and doing a compression test on monday.
