Selling an 89 FJ62 I got in a recent multi vehicle purchase. Hasn't run ina year or two- former owner (I believe him) said it isn't getting fuel but ran fine prior to parking it. Said the transmission and transfer were good, too. I haven't put any effort into getting it running and with a new project on its way here I won't/don't have the time or interest in getting it to run, or to part it for that matter.

Ok guys, I've had this truck posted for a while now. Had a few guys come check it out to confirm that there is in fact a lot of rust around the windshield. But, I have to pay taxes, so it's time to actually get this thing sold. First person with cash in hand will get this great FJ60. Granted, there is a lot of rust around the windshield and a-pillars, but nothing on the chassis or any of the other trouble spots. Asking $1800!!!

This is my first post on this forum guys. I'm selling a 1985 FJ62 with 315,000km on the clock. The exterior has a few scratches and minor dents (no rust though) but the interior is in mint condition. I've fitted a CD system with USB connectivity which works with iPods etc.
I've recently spent about $2k on her including:
Air conditioning regassed
Electric system overhaul
New air filter and battery
New ignition points
New front brake shoes
Major service including oil change
She has Yokohama geolanders on the front which are nearly new, and Desert Duelers on the rear with about 10k left on them.
I have personally driven her about 10,000kms with no problems whatsoever. I'm just selling her to get a more wife-friendly...

Hi all. I have an 86 FJ 60 for sale. It has bedliner sprayed on the lower doors and fenders. The PO did that. It has 32X11.5 15 BFG All terrains with half tread left. OME lift and pretty decent wheels. There is some rust here and there. The rear shock tube needs to be replaced. The rest of the frame is fine. I have been driving it for over a year without rear shocks with no problem at all. I bought this from a guy who purchased it for the engine then did'nt need it. It was built up by a Marine officer who went off to Iraq then Afganistan and just sat at his buddies place for a couple of years. The engine had been rebuilt according to the guy he got it from. 1985 fj60 - $1500
I've had this truck for 6 years, and now it's time to go. My daughter's favorite vehicle, as you can tell from the pictures.
It has some rust issues around the bottom including the rear frame, but many areas are very clean, and the interior is in relatively good condition. <182,000 miles on the clock.

This is my wifes Cruiser, she bought it 8 years ago and has been daily driving it ever since. Always garage kept. Very reliable. Has around 206,000 miles.
The good:

New brakes
Front axle rebuilt last year
New plugs, wires, cap, rotor.

No check engine light, or any other indicators.
Interior is in almost mint condition aside from a tear in the drivers seat. The tear was there when she got it and she has had seat covers on it ever since.

The paint is perfect, no fading, she always washed and waxed it religiously.
Frame is very solid! Still has factory paint over most of it and the floor boards are perfect.

I purchased an 84 FJ60 from North Carolina in April 2011 and out of nowhere got a job offer in California a month later. I've put a lot of money and sweat into this thing with every intention of keeping it around a long time, but unfortunately I have no place to work on it now.
The engine runs good. The odometer read 143k when I picked it up, but the speedo cable was disconnected/broken. I installed a new one and it's ticking again. It currently has approximately 146k.

84 stock fj60, all there, some rust. Few classic spots, rear quarters, rockers, tailgate lower. Front fenders are good, hood good, roof clean, doors clean as is the upper rear tailgate. Frame near muffler has ten inch seam, could be plated. Other than that, just scaly. Motor was rebuilt incl head machined, all gaskets, etc. PO drove off and on for three months and hg went apparently. I'm assuming head bolts were never retorqued. Vehicle then sat for three years.
I just am looking for a slightly better frame to start a family weekender build. I bought it from the stepson of the original owner, have window sticker and stack of receipts...

I am the proud and very sad owner I have tears in my heart for even starting this post I bought my beautiful ole lady to fix up and learn but since I have realized its not within my knowledge and I believe I have bitten off more than I can chew I thought it was carb problems at first then under closer inspection I have discovered its a blown head gasket I love this truck more than anything in my possession besides my dog the price is best offer im open for questions of any kind and will be very honest I don't want to do this but I believe It could be in my best interest

I have a 1987 FJ60, silver, mostly stock except for the H55F 5-speed transmission I had imported and installed. She has 205k on her engine, 15k on the H55F and clutch etc.
High gas prices and the 2008 financial crisis made me park her 3 years ago. I didn't plan on leaving her parked for so long, but I could never get enough extra cash to continue with my plans beyond the tranny swap. At first I would start her up every month or so and drive her around the neighborhood, but after a while I got too busy to even do that. Now it's been so long, I'm guessing she would need attention to her carb, and a gas tank flush at least. Helpful...

This is a very clean and well maintained LandCruiser with the original 2F, 4.2L, inline 6-cylinder engine. It has 241,XXX miles and is still running strong. 4WD and transfer case is all solid and working perfectly. It was restored and painted professionally in the original metallic, slate-blue color several years ago. It spent all but the past two years in Southern California and is nearly rust-free. There is one small spot of rust bubbling through the paint near the roof rail on the passenger side rear and one small scrape from a brush with the garage door near the passenger side tail light. Otherwise this truck is in near perfect condition for its age.
