1986 Toyota Land Cruiser with 198k miles. 4x4 works great and is amazing in the snow. Manual transmission. Easily does 70+ on the highway and gets up to 16 mpg on the highway. I've probably owned this truck for 8 or 9 years now. Unfortunately, It really doesn't get much use and I just quit my job and decided to go into business for myself. So I guess its time to say goodbye to my baby.

Well, it's time for us to let Ruby go. It's my wife's DD, taxi for hauling the kids etc...and my "couple wheeling adventures per year" rig. Well... I would like to sell my 1987 FJ60. I've wanted one for a long time but right now i just don't need it and it doesn't see much use. Was kind of an impulse buy. I would like it to go to a good home, hence why i'm posting it here in Mud.
Details on the truck;
238K miles, but don't be shy its very well maintained.
Rebuilt T-case around 10k ago. New starter, alternator, and cooling system.
Desmogged using Jim C's kit and expertise. Runs really well and went from 12 mpg to 15 mpg. Being an 1987 it no longer has to be smogged in WA!
New Heavy Duty battery cables from Mark G.
Tune up using CCOT's kit. (Not the complete kit though)
Doesn't burn or leak any oil. Starts up strong and like an FJ60 should. Clutch is good...

Exhaust mani gasket bad due to rushed 'on the road' replacement that failed. Transmission is in rough shape, noisey. It works fine but is annoying. Has been like that since I bought it and hasn't gotten worse. I was waiting to replace it.
Rig runs well but needs some attention, idle is poor I think due to the exhaust issue. The motor is solid despite the miles.

1983 FJ60 158,000 miles. Newer(1000miles ago) OME suspension. 32" BFG KM's with about 2,000 miles on them. Front knuckle rebuild with Longfield lifetime seals. This Cruiser is from the dry Arizona desert and has very little rust and a few performance-based modifications that have been added less than 10k miles ago. It is currently located in Montana, I moved here a couple months ago and now I'm moving back because I don't like cold. I really need to sell it so I have some cash for the move home. I'm asking 7k.
Mods:
-OME 3" lift installed at a professional shop. I still have the receipt.
-OME steering stabilizer.
-33" Cooper Discoverer STT mud terrain tires wrapped around 15" Cragar wheels.
-Brand new high performance radiator. I was able to run ice cold a/c in Arizona this summer without overheating.

So.. the story is that I wanted to be one of the cool kids and get myself a 'Cruiser so that I would have a vehicle that would take me wherever i decided to go. I found a good deal and went for it. excited about the new truck I spent $750 on the exhaust and took it on a trip 3hrs away. On the way back I started getting a clacking noise and my oil pressure shot WAY up. I immediately pulled over and left the truck. Lucky for me, there was a caravan and I had a ride back home. I went out to get the truck with a trailer and hauled it back home.
I stripped the top side off the engine hoping for a blown head gasket but, it was the rings on one of the pistons. Gone.

She's got 185K on her...I'm the 3rd owner. This car has spent it's whole life in either New Mexico, Texas, or Alabama - no rust whatsoever. She runs great (recently replaced seals with Toyota due to spending her life in the southwest ), brand new radiator, new windshield, new radio and speakers (iPod capable).
