Saw this on my road trip from TX to FL. No price listed, but has new OME suspension, and possibly new drive shafts. The rear window has been replaced with one from a camper top (hinge all across the top). There is bed liner on the roof, dash, and lower 4" all around the bottom.
I'm looking to possibly trade me truck for fj80, fj60 ,fj55 or 40. . I love my truck but it just doesn't have the room I need with 3kids and a dog. My goal is to build a 4 door fj40 with a diesel and a well built 80 would give a good platform for the build. I would also be interested in other cruisers so let me know what you guys have.
The truck is a 2001 with 230000 miles. It had 220000 when I bought it so most everything is fairly new. Timing belt, water pump,rear wheel bearings, brakes, front wheel bearings, have all been done in the last 5000 miles. 1978 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ55 Convertible. I have owned this truck for over 10 yrs and it pains me to sale it. I am moving and do not have room to keep it. The roof was professionally removed and a roll-cage installed. The 6 cylinder 2F engine has been well maintained and gently used (120K odometer). The engine has a 32/36mm Weber Carburetor, exhaust header and Flowmaster muffler. The truck has an Old Man Emu 2 inch Heavy Duty Lift Spring Lift. 5k miles on BF 32x11.50R15, All-Terrain tires. 2 yr old Duralast Battery. Large 4 core radiator. The LandCruiser runs, steers, brakes and drives very well and has NEVER broke down or left me stranded. I am asking $6400 obo.

If you are looking at this ad you already know how cool these Landcruiser wagons are. This one has 4wheel disk brakes, rear lockright locker, stainless battery tray, centerforce clutch, 4 speed and xfer and front axle from 1976 fj40, roll-cage, handtrottle, header with larger exhaust, petronix with hot coil, 35" goodyear MTRs, 4" custom built springs with additional leafs, shackle reversal up front. Interior is not bad, not great either. Has typical lower rust (no top rust), the rockers have been replaced with box tubing to work as sliders, a few dents. Most of the paint is original.

Last week I bought two FJ60's in southern Illinois, and the seller also has a FJ55 he wants to sell. He said it ran when he parked it a few years ago, he planned to restore it but never got around to it. It has been sitting outside and has some rust on the body, from the front wheels forward looked better than the rear of the truck. I had intended to take more pictures and do a closer inspection but it started a downpour as we were loading my trucks on the trailer and never let up and I never got a chance to look at the frame.
