Horn button doesn't work.

Nearly rust free great patina. You can find repainted 40's with questionable body work or you can buy a patina fj40 that has great metal still. If you want a nice patina FJ40 here it is. Rear sill is in pretty good shape. Rockers are as well. Clear title in my name.

This fj40 spent its time in Arizona and the Las Cruces area. It's very rust free. Only the spot at the rear driver is bubbling. The barn doors are excellent with no rust. The rockers are in great shape as well. Should need very little bodywork. Past owner took it apart and was prepping for paint and never did finish it up. I bought it and put it all back with a bunch of new stuff. You can find repainted fj40's all the time. Near rust free original patina rides are harder to find.

Only only partial trade considered is a fj45 project or running.

Bump for adjustment on price. Had my mechanic compression test it after fixing the brakes and two are low. So if you have a good block or the skills it’s a good deal IMO. Runs and drives well. Just on 4.5 cylinders :(

I’m currently searching while learning about FJ40’s (wish this one wasn’t 1,000 miles away). It looks like this doesn’t have a rear heater. Were those standard (and it’s missing) or was the rear heater optional?

Can you pull out the front and rear matts and take some pics of the metal?

And a pic of the engine bay standing in the front showing the entire engine bay?

Thanks

Out of town till Monday. This is the best I can do till then. The floor basically looks the same as shown in the pics. I don’t know what the PO was doing with the primer. I lightly sanded most of it out. The rear barn doors were almost entirely covered in primer and I sanded it back off.

Front brakes are getting adjusted by mechanic one more time. Not grabbing as well as he likes. Other than that running well on 4.5 cylinders of power. Took some pics while checking it out. Here’s some more pics.
