I am reluctantly selling my 1971 FJ40. It has a 1 1/2" lift with Wilwood crossed drilled disc breaks on all 4 corners.
She has original paint and has some patina in some small areas that add to her character. I have the all original

1978 is the better of the two FJ40's the 1977 is a parts car.
I have disassembled the 1978 FJ 40 and have media blasted and put in primer. Comes with AA adapter for Chevy 350 along with motor that has been rebuilt and on a stand.
So this is a disk front break with the 4 speed.
The body is in decent shape and rear has started to be repaired.

Well it is time to sell my Fj40 as we just don't get it out and use it anymore. We had a lot of fun with it years ago while at Cruise Moab events. Most all of the work that is referenced below was done by Jereimiah back in the days of Proffitts Cruisers now known as Proffitts Resurrection Land Cruisers. I am out of time and moving across the country. My third move in 3 years. Plus I built this to be more of a real off-road toy. Cruising in Florida with air lockers, 4.88’s just doesn’t make sense. It will be a while before I’d be able to continue working on this anyway. So this is for sale with a bit left to do, break in of drivetrain, fluids, driveshafts, and ARB compressor location/switches needing installed.

What’s something like this worth? says the owner probably got pushed up against a tree on the right side. Has been sitting for 25 years and the front windshield is plexi glass and the frame needs replaced. Motor is not stuck but says the passenger door has plywood in it? Not sure what that means

Hey everyone, I've decided to sell my monster truck. It started life as a 1972 fj40 but has had a lot done to it. I put a new SBC 350 in it 3k miles ago. Installed an electric fan and new radiator and doesnt go above 200 degrees. It has a painless wiring harness. It has a 4 speed 78 Landcruiser transmission mated to the original transferase. Fj60 axels with disks in the front and 40 axels with drums in the back. It has a 4 inch lift and longer shackles as well. It's pretty tall. It runs 35 inch swampers and i have a brand new spare thats never been put on. I did little things to it, like upgrade head lights to CityRacer LEDs, and do the gas strut inside original strut- conversion for lift gate. I have a new set of 80 tie rod...
