Up for sale is a 1977 FJ40. The truck is solid but does need some work. It is a great canidate for a project or restoration.This FJ is an original configuration. The rear pinon gear is missing but I have the drive shaft. The truck turns over but does not stay running. The pictures show some rust and patina.Interior needs work (missing ashtray, original radio). Comes with some extras and one original steel rim with hubcap (spare)and jack.

I’m selling a 1968 (according to the VIN) FST patina project. This 40 has sat in a warehouse for the last 15-20 years along with a good parts hoard here locally. This 40 has rusted out front floorboards and rear bed. The rest of the body is decent with great patina. The motor has been removed but I do have a supposed rebuilt F engine (shortblock) and head along with a good oil pan that will go with the deal. I have NO information on what was done to this engine and NO paperwork. The fst doors are ok with the original canvas. Also included is a decent radiator and shroud as well as a good complete set of seats including the long jump seats. As you can see the tires are shot. Great spring green 1967 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-40, almost entirely stock and unmolested. Manual transmission with a 3-on-the-tree shifter. Old school 4x4 with original rare hub lockers. Odometer functions and reads 47,656, however only runs to 5 digits. Runs and drives well, takes a few minutes to warm up as expected of the 54-year-old vehicle. Recently re-upholstered seats, and many other upgrades with over $2500 invested in the last three years.
Has some rust. In the tub wheel wells, the back bumper, and some bondo jobs from the
previous owner. Needs a paint job.

I recently purchased this 83 CJ8 to use as a yard truck around the house. It runs and drives but could use some love. If you were wanting to restore it, I would plan to replace the tube and most body parts. I am interested in trading it for an Fj40 that runs and drives. I am not looking to sell it outright as I still need something. Might even offer some cash to make a deal if needed.
I realize this is probably a tough place to look for this trade, so no need to point this out. I am located in New Mexico.

A classic FJ40 Resto-Mod with a Chevy 350 V-8 engine and automatic transmission. There are no current issues requiring attention. I don't have a history beyond the previous owner. I use the Landcruiser to drive around town as a 3 season rig. It is garage kept and was garage kept by the previous owner. Looking for a new FJ40 project. Looking for as complete and original as possible; original drivetrain, 2F swap ok. Don’t care what color, just not a rust bucket or beat up. Looking for 68 to 77 ish. Doesn’t have to be running and driving. Does need a title. I’m in WA and willing to travel to OR, ID, MT, WY, CO, UT, CA, NV, AZ, maybe farther for the right one.

It’s a rough day for me, but with 3 kiddos under 10, it’s time to let someone else take this Cruiser and use it as it was intended. Up for sale is a 1974 Land Cruiser. I’m not the most mechanical guy there is, but I can answer questions as best I can. Specs are below:

I bought this unit in 1973 from florin road toyota new. I put in the chev 283 -in 1978, engine has about 50,000 on it -LC has about 150,000 oh her.-I had the over drive installed by toyota ( hornodrive ) on the rear on the tranfer box- changes the rear axle ratio from the 4:10 to 2:60 I think -changes the rpm 1000 . it has 4 roll bar system , has skid plate with the skid plate for the overdrive.
