Price reduced to $13,500 for my 1974 1/2 FJ40 Original unrestored Land Cruiser. Very rare Polux Orange color. Great restoration candidate. Runs and drives fine, has workin radio. (Needs antenna)Has new front bumper, dash pad, rims, hub caps and tires. New mirrors, new battery, new shift knobs. Comes with new Oem fenders (I think they are 1972 though) and running boards and tons of additional OEM parts. I have a set of offshore rear tail lights for it. And an old winch pre the 8274 model. Also comes with a new inner rear sill to be installed. There is no rust on any of the floors and just a bit on the tops of the inner rear wheel wells. This vehicle spent its life in Alberta, Canada. Was $15,000 reduced to $13,500. Consider the cost of all the new parts, they cost a fortune. USD

Terry,
Your 74 Pollux Orange is looking pretty darn good from latest pics! You did some Very nice restoration work getting her to current condition, esp. from what you started with in 2017. The first batch of pictures you provided were at night & kind of hard to evaluate & gauge things. The Black soft top looks very sleek & probably nice in Canadian summer.
My apologies to you for being a smart ass, I didn’t mean to come across as a jerk. I had a few beers one night and started running my sarcastic mouth. I shouldn’t have said those Inappropriate things & again-I’m sorry man. I should mind my own business & not be critical; you’re the one doing the work not me.
I realize that you’re a Cruiser person like myself, ( I’ve had my 74 for 25 years since I was 17) & cruiser people support & look out for each other. We are a unique clique/club of Toyota fans that stick together.
I hope your grandson is a FJ40 enthusiast that’s what I like to hear, as we do need more young cruiser fans. Most of the young generation doesn’t even know what they are when they see them.
I hope you get the most $ out of your 74 if you do sell. Get want you need, you deserve it. If not, keep it for the grandson like you say, The truck will only appreciate with time. Investment for him.
Well done fixing up your 74! 👍🏻👏🏻 Cheers

Crush,
Sorry I missed your message.
My tires are Federal Couragia Mud Terrain 31x10.5 , 15”rims. What I like about them is that they don’t make very much noise going down the highway at 55. They’re a nice ride. I’ve had other mudders in the past that were loud.
I did not powder coat my wheels. I just painted them a Gray color that matched Toyotas original gray trim color code. Powder coating steel wheels is not a bad idea though, I’ve talk to people that have.
Thx

To my knowledge the low mileage is original! Congratulations
Thanks Terry couldn’t be happier on top of what you’ve done I’ve done a few more things and want to keep the project going. It’s been a great truck she’s got a slow leak fluid just about everywhere so I was just curious if the engine needs to be rebuilt or what the history was on it. Glad I found this thread

This came out of Medicine Hat Alberta and apparrently sat in a Quonset for about 30 years. The engine seemed to run good. I would not be surprised if it could use the head coming off and being redone.

Haha that probably explains the bee nest that was in the rear hatch when I was redoing the latch.
