Hi all

First of all thank you for an amazing forum! I just want to show you all the build I am doing right now. This is my first Land Cruiser and it was much much worse than I hoped for when I bought it... Like always

Don't get too disappointed. Parts are available here in the States and also a lot can be had from Australia.

First get all the grease off the body and parts, then a good power-wash, and finally a sandblaster who knows how to carefully remove the rust and old paint. You won't know the extent of the damage until everything is cleaned up,

Today I got most off the frame done and I only need to make the frontend repair and the frame is more or less ready for the paint. Some of the body parts got sprayed today - first layer!

Frame is now ready for the paint job and the next will be to order some parts and straigten the doors - ready for paint!

Today i got some new parts and its is slowly getting somewhere!!!

Hi all

A great day! PS almost done. Every part is from a Toyota LJ70 and

it is amazing how well it fits. Got my correct shackles and pins today - great! So now I have to take it all apart again. Next the engine and transmission!
