Yep. That was me. Many of the older guys may remember me. Would love to meet some of the guys that joined after I went to the dark side. Seems like this club has grown in my absence a LOT!

Funny I recognize your handle as I randomly saw your former 40 for sale on craigslist for sale on craigslist ~4 years ago (@Ron Shue at the time) - I wasn't even looking for cruisers nor knew anything about them - went and test drove it and was the start of my cruiser addiction. 5 cruisers later but seeing yours was the start of the fun so thanks for in a part bringing me into this fun. Where's that 40 now by the way but welcome back.

Wish I knew where it was, she was a nice one for sure. I sold that and my daily driver and got a brand new Rubicon which I turned into a wheeling machine (wheelbase stretch, 37's, etc). Sold that, bought a super fast Audi and got into a near fatal car accident. After that I bought my 80 series Lexus and came back to the light! Been loving it. The only part that sucks is due to my injuries I'm unable to get under the truck to work on it. I have an obnoxious exhaust rattle right now that's driving my crazy.

Saw a really nice red 60 driving on Carmel Rd yesterday evening about 6 (Sun. 9/15) right before Carmel Country Club. Looked really good! Ring a bell to anyone or does anyone in the club own this one? Of course with my luck I didn't have time to snap a pic or two (was driving on opposite side of the street so only had a chance to look). Let me know.

Around 7:30 this morning on Wake Forest road in Raleigh (inside the 440 beltline) I saw a nice grey 62 with a roof rack driving north. Headed the opposite direction, he has some oval stickers on the rear window, maybe ONSC?

Thanks! I've finally figured out what I wanted to do with the wings and have the final parts on their way in the next few days. Hopefully I'll finally finish the bumper itself soon. I've also got another LED bar on the way and I'll have four HID lights in there as well, so there will be NO shortage of light.

My wife saw you wave, but I missed it watching for the green light while running late. My apologies... And yes, I use my blinker!

Saw/heard NCNole rumbling past Players Retreat last night while I was getting a burger and some beers.....unmistakable sound

Haha....was headed home from beers at Trophy. Saw the pig the other day too!

Saw this clean looking 40 just now on the way home from work. Hwy98 in north Wake County. Didn't see the owner but I was in a hurry...

Saw two 40's at the Auto Fair at the Speedway on Saturday. There was a poop brown '74 that looked really nice. Stunning, actually. Lots of money spent on it but the underside was swiss cheese. I think the abundance of fresh undercoating was all that was holding the rear shackles to what was left of the frame. Why would anybody do a total resto and not address frame and body mount rust issues? There was also a Green '70 that was hacked like nothing I've ever seen before. Chebby 305, auto, 4 wheel disc w no parking brake, SOA with super long home made shackles. Complete with a fiberglass tilt front clip that was secured by nylon rope! Of course these guys wanted $15K plus for them. C'mon people. Get a clue! Sigh...................... I've been to several auto fairs over the years and this is the first time I can ever remember seeing a 'Cruiser there. I guess maybe it says something about their recent status as collectable vehicles? Buyer beware. There's a lot of junk out there for astronomical prices!

(If either of these two 40's belong to ONSC members I'm sorry for the insults but hey, you should know better!)

Who owns the yellow 40 w/o top or doors at the BP on Randolph/Sharon Amity in CLT today? Aftermarket rims, maybe BFG AT 33/35's...

Was it mustard or yellow?

Green 40 seen leaving Triangle Wine in Morrisville yesterday ~6:45PM. Roof rack, fender flares. Too quick for me to grab a pic or even determine vintage - definitely a 70's model is all I could tell. Looked really clean.

The green 40 in Cary/morrisville sounds like the guy who lives off Evans. If one I'm thinking he's original owner....not interested in selling, ask me how I know.
