Spotted a beautiful freeborn 60 today 9am near hwy 61 gibsonville exit on 40/85 headed west. Looked to be maybe partially dissasembled and missing trim possibly for fresh paint cause looked sharp!!

And see another gorgeous 62 on hwy 54 south in graham? each day at "the barn at Valhalla" maybe lil lift and an arb bumper.

I spotted a FJ60/62 travelling east on HWY 64 pulling a small expedition trailer, and behind an 80 or 100 Series (was past me already) with an expedition adapted M416 or other small military trailer. No time for pics.

It was us. Tim's trailer is a Tentrax and my trailer is an Adventure Trailers Chaser. (Serial #1 in fact - confirmed by Mario at AT; I bought it second hand).

If we were headed east, then It was just before my rig decided to throw the right front drive shaft. Cv had been acting up, but all the slippery stuff and the "harder line" in the shot above likely ended its life before I could get to it.

Great time even with all the rain. I went to Expo east the weekend after and it rained 4x as much. I literally just got the last bit of stuff dried out after making it back to Boston this week.

There is a silver J 70 in town. It just passed me on I 77 S. getting off on Westinghouse Boulevard. Was not fast enough for a picture

He caught up with me at Gold Hill Road and I caught a picture ...

The guys at Toyota Techs told me that someone from Columbia (not SC) was trying to import some, I wonder if this is he?

Yeah, I figured. There are a few differences, my top is that color but the body tub is a dark metallic blue. That one has a metal hard top and is a short wheelbase ... The front fenders made me think it is an LJ70. Mine is mid-wheelbase and a fiberglass top.

Not a lot of 70s around ... And that one was LHD and mine is RHD.

Looking again at the picture, pretty sure it is an LJ which is the LD version with coil springs ....

Found way too many cruisers in Spain to take pictures of, but here are a few:

Well when your hungry in horneytown Tucker's grill is where to go ..... At least if you rock an lpb

Saw this guy and talked to owner mike. A 77 as well and bought in 88. Super clean stock except 2" lift and 265's. great looking rig. And for sale too. Check eBay. He's hoping for 40k and I won't be surprised if he gets it. Only big negative was the liner in bed and bottom of body.
