But , I am not installing these.. I am set to swap for the Slee Heavy instead. So that means I will have a set of OME 865 if anyone is looking for a good deal on some. (only 2 years old)

Or should I install the 863 and see how they ride ??

I say install the 863, lift the front another half inch and see how she sits.

My stuff should be here tomorrow, let me know when you want to have a little party with beer and jack stands.

Since you have the new rear bumper those should work well for you. I wouldn't install 863's without the added weight in the rear but with your new bumper they should be a good match for you. You will probably gain more than an inch over the 865's which probably dropped some when you put your new goodies on the back. Slap em in and roll!

No, no, no...The thing to do is swap them with the dude that has the barely used Slee heavies. Think about the kids slipping on the sliders as they have to overcome the insurmountable height obstacle that the 863s would create. Do it for the children...

Saw the bump it few days ago. It's very well built and really want one! I love how the swing-outs are removable easily. And the latch system is great.
Very nice setup.

OK here is the ladder and rotopax carrier installed.

rotophoto%2525281%252529.JPG

very nice setup. I was wondering.. which size rotopax gas pack is that? 1, 2, 3?

Also, how are the 863's? did you end up installing them?

That is the 2 gal gas, but with the extension also holds another 2 gal which I also have the water pack 2 gal. Mike also made an extension to hold the two - 2gal connected together. (long) The extension set will also hold a 3 gal can, so you pretty much can match and build what you need when you need it. I am still playing with it but will try and put both 2gal cans on and take a picture. (1 gas + 1 water back to back)

Well after the great spring swap with pfran , I swapped the OME 863 for the Slee heavies. I can say that I regained an inch over 865 and the ride does feel much better.

I would highly recommend doing your own spring swap at Paul's house , he supplied all the beer and tools. Couldnt have worked better.

Also put on some new lights on the Front thanks to pfran.

quick question about the slee heavies... Longer spring on driver's side right?

I think the advice we got was A on driver and B on pass. After a few beers later it really did not matter. I hope that still applies.

Any pics of the truck after the spring swap?
Iv'e been looking at doing a bumper just like yours or the Slee rear bumper.
