Correct , it does not have the RED cable in there but I was hoping to use the black as the red , I am going to add red bands at each end and in the middle so it is clearly the main power cable. (I also have other smaller cable not in the picture.)
What do we think , is this a bad idea ?
I know this is probably after the fact, but when I changed to a Odyssey Battery on my GSXR motorcycle, I had to make new wires for the new connections on the Odyssey battery. I don't remember the gauge presently, nonetheless it was the correct gauge, but the wire I had to use for positive was black. Too identify it as the Red Positive, I purchased some red heat shrink tubing from my local hardware store and heat shrunk it to length of the wire, about 15". Worked great and added a little more insulation to the cable, whether it needed it or not.
For 15' of cable, small sections of red heat shrink would work great also.
