Ok, Got the roof top tent mounted and adjusted. Everything was very easy to position and adjust thanks to the total convertibility of the Gobi rack. The tent is mounted so that it only takes 4 easy to get to bolts to remove and install the tent.

It's a little tall ........ all loaded up it measures 95" to the top of the tent.

The diameter of my hubs is 82.19mm or 3.2360in
Thanks for getting that. Would you mind getting the measurement of the area of wheel where the TRD cap snaps in? I’m hoping it is greater than 92mm. The aisin hub is just under 92mm.

The best measurement that I can get is between 91 & 92mm so it doesn’t appear that the Aisin hubs will fit in the opening.

Not quite the Yawn build you advertised ! Nice job, I really like the color combo too. Bet that is a happy LC that you bought it !

Had a question, I'm trying to install this rack on my 100, but just like yours, if you use the spacers they send you (and tell you to use in the instructions), it sits about a 1/4" above the rubber seal like in your photo. Don't you get water in your roof with that 1/4" gap? I've reached out to GOBI but haven't heard back yet.

The spacer is actually the seal. The black strips that run the length of the roof are just trim pieces that are clipped into place. The only place that water could possibly be introduced to the inside is through the bolt holes. So, make sure that you put sealer around the bolts before you screw them in.
Hope this explains it.

Awesome thank you! I'm kinda bummed about Gobi, I've tried asking them this question and no one can give me an answer. They told me at one point the black metal piece is supposed to pull down on that rubber trim? I asked why they say to use the spacers, and it's been crickets.

This is actually not a yawn build. Maybe it's the angle, but it looks like the spare and propane (and bikes) pretty much obscure your tail/brake lights, have you had any issues with that?

No not really. There are additional stop/tail/turn lights in the Dissent bumper that are below the the swing-outs. The propane / spare gas shelf is removed for daily driving which opens up the drivers side. Also when the bike rack is attached I have aux STT on the rear of it too.
So to this point I've had no issues.

Look for this to be in the classified section next week. The Cruiser Teq complete transfer case with part time conversion has been installed. I have enjoyed this for the past two years and it has always been 100% dependable. But the time has come for it to find a new home and a new build is in my future. It will be sold as a complete package ....... awning & rooftop tent included.

I can't believe i did not see this thread until today

I, too, have been contemplating how to haul a 20#er propane tank with my dissent bumper. did you find an other options out there?

Final question: w/r to the gas can/propane tank/bike arm. How did you set the appropriate low friction bumper skid to account for that weight/arm sag?

ooops: one other ?: how did you get in to torque the well hidden hing mounting bolts? Usual tools (sockets) don't fit in there. this takes quite abit or torque as well.

Like the biuld. did something similar w. my bike rack (quikr), dissent factory table mount reciever hitch option, and 4" offset drop hitch extension (mounted sideways). I hope to post pic sometime soon.

Is a 20 pounder really necessary for your use case?? That’s a huge amount of fuel.
well, i idid some calculations. the big user is my tent heater and lp driven fire pit. I didn't want to rule out winter basecamping. do that for a week and....

guess rv would be the answer, but dang, that would exclude 90% of the place I like to go...thankyou landcruiser!
