WTF? Drums breaks on the rear of my 94’ FZJ80 (1 Viewer)

Does anybody know why I have a SF rear axle on my “new” 94’ LC? I thought they were all around disc breaks after 94. I’m the 3rd owner and I’m wondering if the rear end was maybe swapped? IDK could someone help a rookie out? Thanks!

I think there were some 80’s with rear drums through early 95 models. If I remember correctly it was parts bin clean out or something like that.

Pretty sure if it came without ABS it has a SF rear.

Poverty pack 80 series option for the early (pre 95) 80’s... I’m guessing you don’t have a sunroof?

For the 93,94 model years ABS with rear discs was an option. That being said Ive seen far more trucks with the option than without. Rear discs ABS etc became standard in 1995

I had a 94 model-year in the shop with a semifloat drum brake axle the other day. They’re rare but they’re out there
