Can’t find the end of this hose on 1FZ

I’m about 95% done with my head gasket job on my 1FZ but I can not figure out where the end of this hose goes. It is from the EVAP VSV. This is basically the only thing holding me back from driving my 80.

goes upwards to a metal hardline. which then goes to the EGR I think

This photo might help. I think the vsv for evap is circled as number 2 and the hose you are looking to connect runs through circle number 3 but it is hard for me to tell from your photos.

It loops back up to a metal hardline (this is from my 94 before I replaced the vacuum lines):

Good catch. I was turned around and following the wrong vacuum hose. For some reason last night I thought it was a hose coming off the vsv for evap but that is clearly wrong.

I took the intake back off and there is no metal line anywhere near that hose. I’m thinking it might be this one here

In your picture, I can see it is the one that has no hose attached. On the left side of the photo right by the 90° bend
