Non negotiables:
1. Black or Grey
2. No rust
3. 98-99 (for rear diff locker)
4. No water leaks

Wrestling with the idea of letting my 99 Landcruiser 100 go...It’s the unicorn with the center diff lock and was a one owner before I picked it up about a year and a half ago.

Plans were to retire a bit early and take the truck to Costa Rica hence the mild build...then this $@&#ing virus hit.

Looks like now I’ll keep working for a while longer and hold on to my 40 series for off-road fun. No reason to let this truck go, just could use more of a daily driver.

Here’s the stats:

-1999 100 Series w/234k (will climb)
-Center Diff lock (rare)
-Dark Grey
-GA truck it’s entire life.
-Second owner (First was a older gentleman who never put it in 4wd as the actuator lever was frozen from inactivity)
-No rust.
-Baselined upon my purchase (timing belt/h2o pump/heater t’s/ALL fluids/new BFG’s)
-Ironman lift (350 miles ago)
-Spector off-road seat covers (bombproof)

Have a folder of receipts from PO.

Amazing truck in excellent condition. Never planned on passing this one on but life throws curves

$12,000 obo

Picture below is prior to lift/running board removal.

Cheers

Bump. Still looking to buy. I have to reiterate please no LXs, no modified LCs, and please respect my budget. Too many people asking me to buy their $20K projects or tired LXs. Thanks.

Nobody cares your looking. A year and a half and you still have the same budget. Say No crappy lxs. What have you learned in a year and a half about a 100 series?
I’m holding out for somebody that’s ready to part with a decent LC for a fair price. Thanks for the free bump

These trucks exist in the market, perhaps not from MUD sellers at your price but with some research.

Here’s one that’s a bit of a project. Even with 3k+/- in maintenance it’s below your budget. No idea the condition underneath, and seems to have some hail damage, but it’s well within your range. I have no relationship or contact with seller or the listing. 1999 Toyota Landcruiser · Sport Utility 4D

There was one in California a month ago for around $10k that fits your description, but that’s probably $12k shipped to you and you’d be better off paying $12k for one locally that you inspect I’d think.

That thing has seen better days. Rust on the hatch.

I'm in the same boat as OP but I'm looking for Imperial Jade Mica (in case anyone reads this;))

@raidriar This seems to match most of what you're looking for. Black, no rust. Besides LEDs and the headunit, it seems to be stock: Link

I don’t have a Facebook but yes, this seems like a sensible listing

I reactivated mine after 6 years just to look for 100 series. Facebook Marketplace is a terrible car buying platform but, if you want the right one, you have to look everywhere.

Autotempest.com is also a good resource, most of the ones that pop up aren't good deals but it has an additional option to check craigslist nationwide(it'll open like 30 new tabs)
