Can I ask you something. I’m in the market for a 2006 or 2007. I understand that those are the only two years that the adjustable suspension were options. How hard is it to find one with a fixed suspension?

06-07 no AHC is very difficult to find. But any can be convert to typical Land Cruiser suspension.

Many people love the AHC especially those that aren't into hardcore off roading. You can gain 2" of lift at the push of a button. I was purposely avoiding the LXs because of this but now I'm opening up to them.

So you can either take out the AHC components which shops charge extra for and install traditional components or you can do a sensor lift. I'm still new to this but I think basically you just trick the sensors into riding at a higher base point. Couple that with King shocks in the rear. You would probably need to invest in TechStream to check those neutral pressures in the AHC system. I think that is suppose to give you the best of both world of having like a 2" lift AND still having AHC with being able to get some additional lift at the push of a button.

I've read a lot but might have forgetten something or misunderstood. Its all on the forum though.
